Definitely not going to drink today. Just made it past my first social outing last night with others who were drinking. I didn't cave. So glad!!
Loving this feeling. After last night, I actually feel like an admirable person. I used to look at people not drinking and just be amazed - now I'm one of them??

I'm too busy cutting down some invasive buckthorn (small) trees. I have a lot of sore muscles, but it is worth it: very satisfying, and enabling a wider variety of plants. I' m not big, strong or young, but I can still do this!

P.S. Sara when I kissed my kids goodnight last night, their freshly shampooed hair smelled great (bath night). Very nice.

And of course rest my sober head on the pillow with NO regrets tomorrow morning.
