    I like that Drifty! So Nelz, for the season, might I suggest John Denver and The Muppets "12 Days of Christmas"? My kids' favorite :H

        Stay strong Nelz! You are going to make it. You just had a whiff, not a sip. Well done on letting it get so close and not caving in!

        I'm not going to drink either and I love the way drifty put it, there is no point in drinking. So damn true! Another day sober: DONE.
        Whatever you invest in the circle of LIFE is what comes back to you. Multiplied. What you give to people is what they eventually give back to you. Don't do the math. Just increase your LOVE.

          I'm on a roll so I'm not drinking today either!

                AF with a few speed bumps during 2014 & 2015 but will succeed.
                As of 4/12/2014 I have not smoked at all and feel great.

                    I am not going to drink today because just because I am done with college till the 17th of Jan., doesn't mean I should drink therefore I won't drink at all today.
                    I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                    Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                    Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                      Do not need a hangover, or the anxiety and guilt that comes with the withdrawls of drinking Alcohol.
                      I dont get that with beer, but then again beer or wine really never gave me a buzz.

                          Wow, no one's been on here a while. I'm not going to drink today. I did yesterday, it wasn't bad but really, I feel guilty and I don't know why. I put a daily reminder in my phone calendar not to buy alcohol. Yeah, I had to do it. You do what you gotta do, right?

                            I would ruin my 7 months of being sober if I drank today so I won't.
                            I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                              I will not drink today. Please I pray that I dont drink today even though its been so stressful and the cravings are still there.. Always better than waking up bloated, pasty skin, foggy head, dehydrated, I do not want to Drink Today!

                                I will not drink today because I am stronger than alcohol. I've given alcohol enough of my time, money and self-respect. No more....I'm keeping all that for myself from now on.
