it's still in early days, I known him quite a while or rather of him and him of me...thru the connection when I had my radio station. I have been assisting with a new station as advisor for technicalities, licences and programation etc, he is a profesional presenter syndicating shows to various parts of the world, and we got chatting...
We have soo much in common down to our education, both at boarding school and at Cambrige university although he is seven years older so not at the same time..., both owned businesses previosly, both come from London etc..

so we chat and get along really well..
he's be asking to meet me for some time now and two weeks ago went out together...he'svery,very nice but I'm so scared to open myself to trust to be alone with a man again..
so when he come online as soon as he see's I'm there he says good morning or good day all nice things..but I pretend I'm not there or go invisible...
seen him again we went out for dinner again was very nice.....oooh but why do I clam up...
shit, he is a very nice man, doesn't drink, smokes a bit but is gonna stop coz I don't.....

Jan he sound really nice and a non drinker is just wonderful. I'm not surprised you clam up after all the shit you have been through, only you know if you are ready to open up to a relationship again. And even if you are ready it's going to take a lot for you to be comfortable or trust someone again. You could just take tiny babysteps with him, keep it as friends and see what happens. Does he know your history?

okies grown up time..my Jamie is coming home early saturday morning, after leaving to Scotland last July coz after he said "I've just had enough of mums' shit"...

Bonnie was here yesterday all excited about what we can do to make sure he stays with us...!!
Ollie doesn't stop asking me "does Jamie like this"? "does" Jamie like that?...
"Jamie's gonna sleep in my bottom bunk and I'll sleep up there"...everything Jamie,Jamie..
we all can't wait..

what class are your cubs in now?, Ollie's had to repeat the 2nd of primary, but prob for the best as he was in a mixed class last year and with the ccircumstances as they were he was very behind..
but now he's steaming ahead and is always looking to be the top and get best marks..

Eldest is in Grade 7 (the final year of primary school) - he's 13
Youngest in Grade 5 (turned 11 in July)

Our schooling goes to Grade 12 (called Matric).

Our 2 went up to year 11 then went into the lower sixth and upper sixth...........still can't get rid of the Grammar skool thinking.
