Lilly I know absolutely nothing about Bac, but you have all my support anyway!! Sir Reg is a knoight in shining armour and between he and Bridge you'll get good advice. I also agree that it is good to have someone in real life looking out for you.

Well, yesterday I had my first AF day since my friend died. Was good to go to a movie ...... took my mind off thinking about it, though the minute I came out I felt the urge to buy wine. Fortunately I had also paid for my friend's movie ticket, so I had about 20c in cash on me. Just have to get through till Tuesday and I go back to the Dr and ask for the Antabuse. Honestly, it is still the beginning of November and I already have 10 functions between now and Xmas!!! I don't even enjoy them and don't feel any compunction about not going usually, but am going to do so this year for work reasons.

Right, cold and rainy here so I'm back to bed for an hour or two!

Hello everyone. I start my weekend here at the Cape. The weather has improved so that's a plus. I had one of the most powerful alcohol cravings last night. I really had to fight it off. I think it was the restaurant. I have been there many times before, always well lubricated. So that was a scare. I was envisioning Billy Wilder's The Lost Weekend.

Froglet: I had a wonderful dinner at the Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet last night. I may return this evening. I had the wellfleet oysters (raw), and curried seafood stew. The alone time is nice, but a few more than ten people in a five mile radius would be nice. I don't need to practice my bird calls, so a little human interaction would be nice now and then. Seriously though, it is SO beautiful here, and I do love the solitude...really!!!

G: I would love to hear more of your music if you would make it available.

Missy: Have a GREAT weekend and leave that wine alone. Of course you know that.

Bridge: You sound GREAT. Need more info on your drug use please. Any cellophane flowers of yellow and green? BTW, I will send you instructions on how to maintain your computer the quick and easy way. They will also show you how to create a emergency repair disk. This will allow you to boot up through most fatal errors and retrieve your critical data files.

Morning Missy & Techie,

Missy - you're sounding good. Hang on in there until Tuesday.

Techie - had a poke around the Wicked Oyster site - I'll have the natural oysters followed by Grilled Wild Salmon with cous cous, truffle cauli puree and pine nuts, thank you. I quite like the solo dining experience. Have taken note of Freedom - all the others arrived and I'm currently very much enjoying Prodigal Summer.

I think it's fantastic that Lilly and Bridge are both starting bac at the same time and with Reggie around to offer his helpful advice, I think the gals will be kicking goals all over the place.

Normal weekend here - come to think of it, my weekends are no different to week days. The rain we had has certainly resulted in fantastic growth. Things I've never seen before are flowering. During the week I picked 30 yellow roses and overnight expressed them to mum. Made her day.

Hi reg tawn bridget missy mr g techie hope i hev'nt left anyone out, have'nt learned how to multi quote yet!!!!!

Ok the drama was, I ordered 800x10 mg bac online from inhouse, I stupidly pressed the button twice for 400, did'nt notice in my email, untill it had already been shipped.thats when I panicked, all stupid things went through my head, any way I sent reg a pm and he, assured me it would all be okay,Thanks again for that reg,I had also sent a email to Inhouse, about my concern, would you beleive, I got a phone call from Kerry, the owner of Inhouse this morning, he also assurd me, it would be ok,and if custom was to seize it, they would send it back to inhouse, and he said, he would refund my money,not that I was worried about the money, more concerned with customs, so all seems to have turned out good,
I'm not comfortable about telling anyone yet, not sure what hubbies reaction would be, he does'nt understand its a desease or illness, I will tell him though, but once I get more af time under my belt!!!

Bridget, good you have started the bac too, and you are doing well on it,

I'm sure your husband will be very supportive when you discuss this with him, when you are ready to do so. Geez, that's service getting a p/call from inhouse!

I didn't go down the bac/meds road, but as far as getting stuff through the post goes, i've had a couple of incidents with Australia post when Tawny has mailed me some of her 'wild mushroom's'. C.S.I.R.O. have been called in a few times to verify the content, but i never hear back, or get the goods back. They're big, beautiful mushroom's, and i tell ya, there's nothing wrong or dodgy about 'em, suffice to say, they make a mind bending risotto. :nutso:
