Underoos Friends - November
G'day Tawny, was just doing a check in my-self. Had a great little chat with my wonderful GP and have my Rx for Antabuse. We talked quite a lot about the advantages and disadvantages of taking it every day vs taking it in advance of situations where I think I might be at risk of being tempted (like: prior to getting on a Trans-Tasman flight in the early evening with free wine on offer!!). Haven't come to any conclusions yet on how I want to proceed, and want to talk it over with Mr B. I'm a little concerned about being in situations where I inadvertently eat something with "hidden" alcohol in it, so have told all and sundry that I am doing a de-tox and can only eat brown rice and plain vegies ..... if that doesn't put people off asking me for dinner I dont know what will :H:H
Off to a movie later ....... "Inside Job". All about the GFC. Not sure that it is really what I feel like doing on a sunny and warm Tuesday evening, but it will keep me out of mischief!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

What have you been sewing Lilly? I've been thinking about getting the old machine out as well, but cant think of what to make that would get me motivated. Did some knitting for the first time in many moons a few months ago and that was quite fun!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

:H:H Just pulled out some crochet patterns from the 1960s that I rescued when we were cleaning out Mum's house. There is a very groovy looking Granny-square rug that I thought I might have a go at (would look great on the back seat of the undie bus!). It is obviously ripped out of an ""Australian Women's Weekly" and on the other side of the pattern is " ....... the concluding chapter of Amanda Doyle's irresistible story set in the Australian outback : Dilemma at Dulloora"!!!!!!! :HNever give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

OMG - I've just googled ... Dilemma at Dulloora ... it's a 1974 Mills and Boon ... here's the synopsis:
The brood of youngsters in Nat McMorran's charge at Dulloora Station in the Outback were nice, but a handful, and he was thankful when Jonty Ashburne came along to help out -- which meant that he could now think about marrying his fiancee Isobel, at last. But what did Jonty think about it all?
We must, MUST buy this book and DISCUSS. At length.
OK - really off to put things in the oven.
