Pissing it down here this evening, house is all cosy and we are warm and dry which is more than can be said for the homeless on this dreadful night

Things are fine with me thank you. A lovely sunny day it was here today. Like your hippo pictures. I like most animals in general and quite often watch nature programmes on tv with Mr. Stirly. I don't like hyenas tho'. Nasty feckers.
Gotta go. Older son is coming by for a visit. Will drop by later on.

I was exaggerating somewhat! The area we're going to is very tame, Oners - although you still find leopard

Well I have to admit that we didn't exactly sleep in tents .....she says sheepishly.....we stayed here. There were special dormitories for visiting groups.

Oh and we fed the ducks and there was a big field of Chillingham cows. That was about it for the wildlife.

I hope I can take some nice pics. We need to get to the coast when it is low tide - did you see the reference to the sandstone formations? And the possibility of seeing whales & dolphines, of course.

Any ideas what to pack for the hike there and for lunch?
