Hello everyone! What a beautiful day here today! Beautiful but cold. I really need to get the snow tires on my car. Got some more white lights wrapped around the trees in my driveway and I can't wait to see them on! Need some more icicle lights on my deck and still have to do the house yet, and another tree on the other side of the driveway. Busy busy busy.
How is everyone? I'm making a nice roast of tenderloin for dinner with some onions, parsnips, garlic, potatoes and some spices. Yummy.

I''ve been trying to answer PM's and then my Mom Skyped me so I had to go chat a bit. Skype is great!!!
I get the urge to spend money once in a while, too, but what I really love is a good bargain. That makes me feel even better about my shopping.

Gia - the lights sound wonderful. They don't start to decorate here until around the first of December although I did see a house about 10 days ago that had put some twinkly lights up already. A bit early for me. I have lots of Christmas decorations that I've made and I always put them up. Plus our tree has decorations that my sister and Mom have sent us and I especially like those..For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

I like putting them up while it's still half assed nice out there. If I wait too much longer it will be too cold; my fingers will freeze and it stiffens the cords up making them harder to wrap around things. I'll turn them on after Rememberance Day, since they're white they have become a permanent part now and won't be taken down.
It's supposed to rain heavy here as well with really high winds, starting tonight. I hope I can get my lawn mowed for the last time..need to head to my parents to help her pull carrots and potatoes from her garden. Too much to do for one day!

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]This is a nativity scene I made years ago out of scraps of fabric and stuff that I had. The base for Joseph and Mary and the Wise Men is made from chicken wire with the outfits sewn and glued on. The manger is made out of cinnamon sticks glued together with a little fabric on the top and the trees are made out of paper cones with pine cone pieces glued on them. Took me a while to make all the pieces but my kids love it. Older son especially likes the little white lamb with the black nose, ears and legs. I like the stripey donkey next to the lamb. For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

We have words here like "Wind Chill Factor"...scary words!! But it can be about 0 or -5 and it gets even colder..like -20, but if you add in the words "Wind Chill Factor" (Eeewww scary) it can get down to -30 or more...
This was taken a couple of years ago on the little country road that doggy and I walk up every day. It never gets worse than this here and only lasts a couple of days and then the snow has all melted.
