Army Thread 5th Nov 2010 firework night..!! (UK)

The daughter has just joined a panic forum and made her 1st post on a panic forum and is already getting replies. I hope it does her as much good as MWO has done for me.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

      Hi guys.

Mario, cant imagine what you must be going through, but if anyone can deal with it, you can.

JC I joined No More Panic forum a couple of years ago. Excellent place. I hope she gets what she needs from hers.

Fireworks going off quite badly here and dogs not happy :-(

Black Bess will not even go out for a quick pee. She's more nervous than ever this year.

The daughters coming over tomorrow so I'll feed her cake.

Oh Jackie, I hope it does her the world of good. We all know how great it feels to talk to people who have the same or similar problems that we have. It makes us not feel so alone and it makes us feel like someone understands us. It took years for Mr. Stirly to understand my claustrophobia. And I can't really say that he understands it or really even accepts it since he's never experienced something like that. I hope she can quickly find the way to help her deal with all of this. She's so young. It's not fair to have to deal with things like this at such a young age when you should just be enjoying life. :huggy for your daughter.

Do you know I'm so glad the doctors are taking this seriously even though she's only 24. It would be so easy to dismiss it. I started with my panic attacks about that age but used to be sent of with a bag full of ativan until I found the magic of AL.

I missed this! I am delighted your daughter joined the forum JC, I reckon it will give her a boost to talk to others who understand. I bet it does wonder for her.

Well she'd better bring her lap top with her tomorrow or there'll be a right argy bargy over which forum to log into.

Course now I'm itching to get over there and have a look see, but I won't promise.

I hate it when our pets are upset. It's not like kids that you can talk them through it. Mostly I just hold him and pet him and give him lots of treats at times like that. He does love his treats so it calms him down for the moment but then he's back to barking.

Poor Bess. Do you know that I feel like our pets are part of our "family". We should have a MWO meet-up where we bring our doggers along as well. Larry and Freddo would definitely court Bess and Lord knows what kind of a hey-day they'd all have...:H

Jackie - cake is good. Comfort food. That's what she needs. Cook her favourite meal and then pile on the cake and icecream and choccie and whatever it takes, topped by lots of :huggy and :h and:l

                  Am off to dreamland, hopefully.

                  Wishing you all

                  See you all tomorrow...

It's the same one that starty's using and I've got a bezzie mate that uses it.

I know there's other forums but haven't really looked. I can remember some one mentioning quite a tough one where they take no prisoners so to speak.

They've only got 37 members. Shall we all join. It must get right lonely over there.
