Dear Spud,
I had to stay away from drinking events in the first few months. My husband hid all the alcohol. He has cut down but still has a drink on weekends. When he drinks rum it's the worst because the smell of rum always reminds me of my youth and all the drinking days. Now I think of myself as a non-drinker. It's funny, a friend of my husband asked me " Don't you drink?" and it was automatic for me to say NO!
