Oney for real!?! My wife and her sisters love that show..........She's played the movie .....like for ever ! ha! I also hear from them that follow the show , their is another movie in the works.....Ode to Joy ! ha!

Yay for another movie!!! I always watched the show, and my sister and I go to the movies as our "Girls Night Out"...or in this case our "Girls Night In" with 16 teenagers in the house....LOL
We passed out invitations yesterday and all the young 'uns are excited! I think I'm more excited than they are though I love just hearing them talking and interacting with each other. And then when they see me they all crowd around...they're great kids!

K-9.......I was a honored to take part in my son's Field Trip a couple of days ago. He's 16 and the trip was for his Photo Class. Went to the zoo and and Art museum in DC. I had the job of watching 8 teenage boys ! Ha! What a blast........my boy was right in their with them....them boys sure know a lot more than I did at their age ! Ha! Tony

Well the big party is tomorrow! I think I'm as excited as all the kids! I've been running around getting all the food stuff gathered. I am off at Noon tomorrow so I can go home and start whipping up some junk food! The good thing about it being for teens is that I don't have to "deep clean" the house...they wouldn't even notice. As long as there's food and music they'll be happy.
Wish me luck...I have 14 kids coming so far :nutso:

Oh, K, what memories this brings back!! When my granddaughters were little, I kept a trunk full of old prom dresses, shoes, jewelry, hats, feather boas, etc. and the little ones would put on fashion shows. Not anymore, and I MISS it!! Once my daughter had a big sleepover and i made blueberry pancakes the next morning. Some of the other moms said I had set the bar too high for them!! Demanded I serve cold cereal from then on. :H

One activity my kids used to love at their sleep over parties was making their own "Music Videos"...we would do make-up, hair and costumes and then video them! I still have all the videos to torture them with!! The grandkids love watching!

Oh, and you can buy the pizza crust and have all sorts or ingredients, toppings and they can customize their own pizzas. Daughter revived an old memory this summer for her daughter's BD; had lots of dif ice creams, toppings, fruit, and the girls made their own banana splits.
Teens are so easy to feed, just put some munchies out and they're happy! Have a blast, and take pics, OK?

Oh Ruby we really must be related. End of year party at my house--same deal---high society dress up and "gourmet food" as noted by one girl= happy face fries, caesar salad and chicken wings! It actually saddened me to think what she was accustomed too.

It should be a blast! The menu consists of: Weenies wrapped in bacon, Taco cups (tostido chips filled with meat, beans, cheese), french bread pizza (homemade), chicken wings (2 flavors), mini ham and cheese sandwiches on hawaiian rolls, and I've recently had a request for my "famous" mashed potatoes. Oh...then my sister is providing all kinds of dessert! I could feed an army with this menu.

Oh yes, my camera will be out and ready....I never know when I'll need blackmail material. LOL :H

K-9, I'm so glad you posted this thread! In the last couple of years (post alcohol!!) I've hosted a weekend for some of my friends from school, some I've known 54 years, and it was JUST like our slumber parties when we were kids. We sat up most of the night, munching, gabbing and gossiping about everyone who was not there. :H We were instantly back in school!
