    Good morning all - just popped in to say hi. Thought I'd post on the Army thread since it's Veteran's Day here in the States! I read this thread everyday and love it - hope you don't mind me joining in

    Hope you are all well and happy.

    Oney - you have been in my thoughts! Hope you and your family is OK. What a sad time for you

            Aww, oney how awful you dad must feel.... there is a lot of estrangement in my family that is hard for me to understand. Maybe he'll feel like talking to you about it at a later time.

                    Oney how is your Dad at dealing with his feelings? Does he do AA?

                    Brig - My mouth is watering here and I HAVE to know how you make choc cheesecake truffles....

                    I have decided to dump McDreamy, he asked me out for dinner this sat and I realized that Id rather be home in me jammies curled up by the fire with my dog watching x factor NOT sharing chocolate..... says it all really dont you think :H

                      He does AA Chill, every week like clockwork so I am hoping he will share there, I did ring a little while ago and he seems a bit brighter.

                          I sent him a txt saying I was busy sat (didnt say busy being happy alone!)
                          and that id see him sunday, then I will tell him its finished....

                              Oney that good he goes to AA, i know its not for all of us but its a great support system and place for sharing without judgement. I just spend 2 hours with a lady from the AA group I went to and she is a gem, I told her I wouldnt be back as I have you lot but I totally get how much it helps people.
