THANKS SO MUCH for this guys, it means a lot to me.

I struggled with the fags for many years, gaining a week here and gaining a week there but always failing and running back to the dreaded smokes.

This time was different however, I stopped pussyfooting around, I knew that the other times I was not seriously making 100% effort...I was giving in too easy, I was looking for excuses to give in and I was falling at the first hurdle every time, time after time.

I didn't want to take any NRT because I wanted OUT, completely.....I decided to just STOP and STOP for good.

It WAS hard, there was cravings and upsets, and rows with Wob and issues with kids and money worries and family issues etc etc blah blah but NONE of them were enough to make me smoke...NOTHING is ever bad enough for me to smoke and the same goes for the booze.....

Tis very easy to say "oh but I was under pressure....I was shocked, I was out with friends, I was upset, I was angry, I was stressed"..they are all excuses. Ohhh I was tempted, quite a few times actually but at the end of the day, I had told myself that I would NEVER pick up a smoke (or drink) again. ever, ever ever.

I am OVER THE MOON to be free and happy and living my life with nothing having a hold over me anymore. I am learning to LIVE again, enjoy life for what it is not for the drink sodden, smoke filled existance I used to call a life.

I couldn't have done either one without MWO and the friends I have made here who told me to get a grip and cop on.
