Good morning -- I is here. I would have loved to have stayed in bed a wee bit longer too. Couple cups and I'm coming around now.
Ruby you are tempting me!!! Have a wonderful time. Not sure what a recordable book is but I get the point. I have a video of my Uncle from AB reading a book on heavy equipment to my son when he was 3. We were out for a visit. My Uncle is a big burly teddy bear at heart who worked large cat equipment all his life. Zach kept interrupting but Uncle was quite patient although you can see some frustration in his looks at son. Very cute.
Glad you liked the pics all. Ruby asked for it and she's away...hehehe
Sun--the battle continues...Arghhhh No cold--I nipped it Mom I hope you take that nap--snooze a few for me too please.
Bird--you do get in some predicaments with nature--don'tcha :H Is performing your sole source of income? You must be very good. You can lead us in kum buy ya at the jamboree.
Roger that is one lucky Coco. I'm afraid he would not have fared well with me unless I could have done it myself. Bet he loves that cone. not
Ok I've gone advanced again and now I've lost the plot. Dance told me what to do but of course I forget.
It's a beautiful fall morning if you like fall and mornings I guess.
Sorry, haven't been keeping up very well lately. Would like to know how Grateful and Zach is too.

Didn't end up napping - lay down on the sofa, all snuggled under a blankie, and after 15 mins got up - I read somewhere that if you haven't fallen asleep after that length of time, you don't need to nap - so against my better judgement I got up! Jan - we are at the beginning of the process and right now, are just talking about them - they have three right now, and I have been talking to one person, and am hoping to get to see the dogs this week coming but as they are all volunteers and I work too, we all need to co-ordinate. I was hoping they would call yesterday but they didn't. I have seen pics of all three and those EYES - aaawwww! I have also told Maggie that she is going to be getting a brother - she didn't seem too impressed. She will still be the alpha. Think I might go and get a soda - just one mind you - just fancy one. One is okay - right RC? Just the one????

Good morning family! I slept from 9 - 9 and I'm still tired. Foggy, stormy day, it looks like. I could really stay in bed all day. I've been working out every day and I hurt from head to toe. I HATE exercise! RC, I LOVED the pictures and your car. MB, I do hope you are feeling better today. Bird, I received your cd. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. Has anyone talked to Trapped? I called him a few days ago but he never returned the call. I hope he is doing okay. I do talk to Grateful every couple of days. I think she got a little gun shy from all the attacks towards me, but I hope she will come back. Tomorrow we are having a big thanksgiving meal at the church at 5:00 so I will be busy all day. Today...not so much. I feel laziness in the air. I hope you all have a great day! Love ya, Vicki

I have talked to Trapped a few times..he is ok...was having some drama at work and Levi is fine....
Vicki...I love you and all your support...my emotions are all over the palce right now, but I guess that is to be expected, huh. No booze and no job....

Hello everyone, hello mama bear! sticking my head in to say hi, staying busy and sober, it's gonna be a right cold evening here but thankfully I have the support of my wonderful hubby this weekend. Feeling strong, happy and hopeful so far.

This thread is so busy it is hard to keep up, but if it's okay, I think I am gonna stick around and try!

The MOM of the group is Ruby Willow...she lives in Georgia and has been sober several years. She is a proud grandmother, excellent cook, loves her moutain cabin, has a wicked sense of humor, and keeps us all in line.
Roger (also known as T) is the DADDY...he lives in Florida, has been sober several years, and owns his own handy man and carpentry business. He is sweet, supportive and always has a kind word. He has overcome some HORRIBLE things in his life...you need to go read his story.:h His girlfriend is Sue and he has two boys he adores and his uncle just spent 6K on a sick dog!!!
I am Mama Bear - I live in Florida, too. My sweet family here has been trying to support me since I just lost my job and am having a tough time. I have only been sober around 30 days. Ruby and I are the smart asses of the family!!!! I am married and have two teenage boys.
Sunshinedaises is the sweetie pie here. She manages a national chain book store and lives in Illinois, but she is originally from the UK. She is married and has an aging dog named Maggie and and is thinking of adopting a sheltie. She is loving, sensitive, generous and has been sober for 6 months or so.:h
Topsy Turvey lives in Canada, has gotten me addicted to Netflix and runs a small daycare. Very wiity, educated and sharp, and shares the smarty pants bone with me and Ruby!!:H
Grateful is very bashful and posts occasionally and tends to isolate when she is in pain, but we love her and are always calling her.
Vicki lives in Mississippi, out in the WOODS, and has had long bouts of sobriety, but, like all of us, messes up from time to time. We still love her and don't judge, but we have been known to fuss at her!! Vicki is very involved in her church and her relationship with the Lord is extremely important to her.
Tony, or IAD, lives in Maryland and entertains us with his funny pictures and stories about his great kids. he is a good son too and helps his mom alot. He has been sober for I dont know how long, and is about to start working for the VA. YAY!!!
RC (Ringing Cedars) lives in Canada and owns a health food and supplement store. She is our resident homeopathic doctor! She just drove all the way to Georgia and spent a week at Ruby's cabin. She is working on re-connecting with her kids and we just love her to death.
Panno is our buddy from England that pops in evry now and then.
Nora is in California. She is an absolute hoot and, like me started Anatbuse about 2 months ago. She has really struggled, but is in a GREAT place right now. She is married and has kids that we get to hear about.
Bird lives is Georgia, has two kids and is a musician. She takes antabuse too, and got stung on the butt by a bee the other day. She also has chickens, and her rooster got killed the other night by a stray cat. We are encouraging her to get another rooster and name it after Roger......Roger Rooster!!!
Time 4 change pops in now and again.
I know I have forgotten someone and I apologize.
