    We might go somewhere for the day like a state park or something. I dont like to cook and the kids dont eat much. We feel sorry for the turkeys and they never want one. They just want a pie and dont care about the rest. Got an invite from kids friend parents down the road but told her we were goin to beach cuz I didnt wanna go over there, they are nice but I didnt think I could sit over there all day and know I'd be uncomfortable and want to drink. I'm off to bed. Started the shirt Ill post a pic tomorrow....b

        Hi all
        Well I am last off and 1st on. Thinking about going camping now. Can't go today 1 kid has lessons and other to movies. Will figure it out but weather really nice. Sun hope that turns out ok, the Dr......Time I used to spend all my holidays alone before kids. I kinda liked it and would always plan a fun day for me........MB that sound like an interesting Tday for you.....T love the poem......Rubes hope you got rested up and love the tractor pic....Nora all the sleeping is wonderful.....RC might have to try painting shoes myself....got to get started, kids be up soon and need a cooking lesson....b

            I CANNOT be the first one posting today?!! Wake up, you slumber bumbers!!!!!!
            Trying to figure out my holidays. MIL has screwed everything up again with her being inconsiderate, of course, but there WILL be a big meal here, for those who choose to join. Wish you all could be here. We'll make up for it in June, OK? I'll make my most famous dishes if someone will do the clean-up.
            Yes, I'm taking my meds. Had them refilled just a day or so ago. It really made me think about people without insurance, because one of my Rx's was $600 for a month's supply, and I still had to pay $165. Docs always ask before they prescribe if I have insurance. What if I didn't? Would I get the next best thing? That's another thing to put on my list to be thankful for, but I've been in line with people who have to ask for a smaller number of the meds they need to survive, or have to leave empty-handed. Makes me want to stand there in cry. (please don't make a big deal of this, but I've paid for other's meds sometimes just because I really want to share my blessings. Most times I'm thanked, sometimes not, but what's important is what is does for me.)
            Still dragging a bit, but I'm fine. Just old and decrepit! So much to do this week, and I'm planning to get back to the cabin as soon as I can.
            I'm missing several of you here. If you're reading, lurking, working, it would be great to hear from you. Mimzy worries!

                            Good morning, my sweet family! I felt so bad yesterday, I did not even get on the computer and I didn't get a single thing done, so now I have a million things to do. Pack for beach for 7 days and pack for Thanksgiving 3 days. Our weather is so crazy, it is gonna be 78 again today. Don't know whether to pack sweaters or shorts. I am so thankful this year to have each one of us as a friend and it is going to be terribly hard to be off the computer 10 days. I will miss you all like crazy!
                            Sunshine, I totally agree with you, Ruby is young and beautiful. I think we may have a self image problem, Rubes. I completely agree with you, Sunshine has a beautiful accent! I love talking to her! Roger, that bear's attitude reminds me so much of Paul in the morning. I loved your Thanksgiving poem and your meal sounds wonderful. MB, I hope you have a good time with your family at Thanksgiving. Bird, I love your Journey shirt! You are very talented. Why don't you sell each one of us one for some extra dough? I definetly want to order one. RC, I haven't ever pickled zucchini. Is that good? Sunshine, we are all praying for you that you are and will always be cancer free! If I don't get to post again, I hope you al have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
