    Happy Thanksgiving US Jammers!! Hope you all have a wonderful time with friends and family. A good day to think of our thanksgivings in any event. I am thankful for my family and friends here and there and that each day is a new beginning to make the best of it we can. xo

      I picked Molly (big old black lab) up last night to stay for 10 days while her momma plays in Cuba. Poor Magda's yappy little self is learning to adjust to the "I'm not amused grrr's" of Molly. I've never seen Magda so quiet so quickly with company of any kind! lol

          Actually I REALLY want a soda but am going to be good and not go and get one. Why would I be craving them now, after so long not having them???? I haven't missed them at all until the other day, and now again today!! I need to go and brush Maggie - we are off to visit her cousins so she has to look her best.

                    Happy Thanksgiving to my wonderful friends. I hope everyone is enjoying their family. Be safe and count your blessings. I'm off to wake up the sick baby for a bath so we can go have dinner with her Mommy & Daddy and other Grandparents. Love to you all. :l:l

                          Survived another dinner with the in-laws. Food, MIL crazy as a loon as usual, but I saw my beautiful girls.
                          Just read our local paper, and for some reason, on of the city councilmen had been pushing to make all the parking spaces (currently you pull in at a slight angle) where you have to BACK in to them, at even more of an angle. Keep in mind two state highways run through town. This would mean pulling past the space, hoping the cars behind you read your mind, and backing into the space. Does this sound as nutty to ya'll as it does me?? Imagine the inexperienced and elderly drivers. Everyone in town had a hissy fit, so hopefully it's dead in the water.
                          Hope everyone has a happy day, and counted your blessings. I count you all as one of mine.

                            Hi Jan - Grateful - Happy Thanksgiving to you too!! Ruby - I have just got back from Lunch with my M-I-L too - but she is WONDERFUL. The drive back was terrible. I saw four accidents - we had sleet and ice pellets - we have had 4-5" of rain in the past couple of days then today the temp shot down and it turned to sleet-ice pellets so you can imagine what the roads were like. I hate driving in that sort of condition, but take it steady anyway. The meal was wonderful. Maggie was on her best behaviour, as was Hubs (LOL). He had to go to work, so I left when he did as I was worried about driving home - I don't mind snow, but hate sleet etc. I hope that everyone had a wonderful day?

                            Ruby - The parking idea that you talked about is crazy! Just out of curiosity, why do they want to do it or don't they have to give a reason? Madness!

                            And I agree with Rubes - you are all in my blessings - I love each and everyone of you! Thank you all for being here for me. You have no idea how special you all are to me and how much you all mean to me. love and hugs to you.

                              Their reason is because the roads are so busy it's difficult to back out, Sunni. As one woman pointed out in the 'vent' section of the newspaper, if they think backing out is hard, try backing IN with people from out of town trying to figure what the heck your doing with your blinkers and backup lights on, sitting in the street. All this started because because they're repainting the parking space lines. Our tax dollars at work, re-inventing the wheel. :H

                                Whew, guest Molly combined with my critters makes life interesting! Hope everyone is safe and sound on this evening. Didn't get my designation as an expert, but it really wasn't my field. I'm a natural health healer not a medicine/disease expert. So have requested they open up a natural health category and I'm moving my focus for now. Freezing rain here tonight too....working on fire and touching up my natural hair colour...past not present natural colour. hehe xox
