Bird - I loved Ruby's idea about getting her biggest kitchen knife and cutting him off mid flow!!!! I am not sure what I would have done but I know one thing for sure - quiet though I might be I surely would have done and said SOMETHING. The NERVE of the man.

Ruby - you haven't failed anyone - except maybe yourself - you are not responsible for others! you are only responsible for you. NO guilt about others. Take off the hair coat or whatever the expression is. I long ago realised that I am only responsible for me - can be there for others but I do not fail others! I do the best I can - and that is it. I am human! So please stop worrying about what you did or didn't do for others - you can't change the past anyway, only what WILL be. SO, stop with the failed stuff and concentrate on the NOW stuff okay?? I have spoken!! (I so love being far away from you! LOL)

Keep wondering what to do today - by the time I decide what to do, it will be over. So I will have had a relaxing day! I did write to my mum, on the plus side! And had a facial - although Hubs said 'Why mess with perfection?' Wonder what he wants? LOL

Back later. I really should DO something. maybe I will bake cookies - I have a recipe for lemon ginger ones that look SO good and I have all the ingredients - think I mentioned them before - well, I still haven't made them!!

Me again - Real Bummer - I DON"T have all the ingredients! I needed a lb of icing sugar and I only have about 10 oz so I have decided to make some dark chocolate espresso cookies instead - I have everything I need for those. I did talk to Swannie and I think I woke her and probably talked too much - sorry Swannie. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Mmmm, probably not a good idea making dark chocolate espresso cookies when one doesn't ever have caffeine after noon. I have been eating the dough and will try a cookie when they are cool enough - but they smell delicious! I will probably regret it at 2.00 this morning. Back later!!

Ya'll are the greatest bunch of people around. Those who have posted today, yesterday, tomorrow, That's how I feel about being sober, and want everyone out there whether they are drinking to excess, or just working on their drinking in situations, one special occasion at a time. We don't judge. This is about what works, and works well, every day. If you can learn to mod, GREAT!! Most can't, and they know that after a little bit. But you are all welcome, at whatever stage you're in, and NO ONE will judge. (Unless you act up and act crazy, then you have to deal with that.!!)
I hope ya'll don't mind I posted the above. There are lurkers out there who are screwing up the courage to post, and I'm just saying, they shouldn't be afraid to do it. You regulars are fabulous, and I miss you when I'm dealing with friends/family at home. Thank you all, especially my calling friends, for being here. Lets help each new poster!!

Rain here too Grateful all night but that is good. Cold now.......Tony love your post and so true......Rubes you are a wonderful grandma and parent and never a failure. Always trying to help and strong. Dont think that you arent....RC that is good about the site let us know how it goes.......Sun how did you sleep after eating cookie dough and cookies? Sounds yummy....T might have to take you up on that 75% off deal.hahaha.....well gotta do something like clean up this mess. Othewr daughter having boy problems now after other just getting over 1.
