Hi - I am SOOO procrastinating. Don't want to clean out closets. Don't want to clean my kitchen. Don't want to hoover. Don't want to tidy. Why doesn't someone here need something answering? My fridge needs cleaning out too. need to make some soup as well.

OH - I have my 6 month check up tomorrow (cancer check up). wish me luck all of you and send prayers! I won't need them - I am fine. But there is always that teeny tiny little niggling doubt at the back of ones mind! I never worry - until they stick the needle in my arm - then have a moment of panic "What if it isn't all fine?". I will be fine. Now tell me to go and do something and stop wasting time.

Sun, it's gonna be fine. I've set my mind on it. You need to be a little bit naughty so God thinks there's work left to do on you, so you'll be here for a VERY long time.
Seriously, I've dealt with cancer, and all it's aspects. It awakens us to the realities, makes us look at our world, and what we've created, have yet to do. Be at peace with yourself, for your past, but KNOW I expect, and God does, great things in your future, for you and everyone around you. You're gonna be here a long, long time, and though I understand your fears, and I'm here for you always, I believe you'll be the one standing, dispensing your wisdom, for decades. You have worked magic in your life and ours, and I'm constantly amazed at your strength. Listen to your body, give it what it needs, OK? I know how much I care about you, and can only imagine what the ones who know you physically feel.
In the end, we all face the same uncertainty. But what you've done to help your body deal is magnificant, and WILL count. So, know I'll be waiting, as you do, for the outcome of your tests, but believe, as I do, they will be fine. And then I can go back to tormenting you with all my sophmoric humor. Remember, you, and everyone here, is SO special.
Now, get off your ass and take down that hummingbird feeder!

PS: And I don't care if you do that cleaning you're talking about. Hubs is omnipresent today, but he's watching the race and he knows I hate it, so I can get away and do my thing! :H I'm gonna send him to each one of you when he retires. You'll make me saint after you spend a week with him!!

I know how you feel Sun. My place is in need of a good cleaning and it never is all straightened up. Seems like such a pain in the ass to deal with. Why can't I be a nomad and just drag a tent around? Still would be a pain having to set it all up and then the mess again. My kid has been after me for a long time to read Stephen King novels. Wouldn't let her read anything but out of the jr. fiction section. But today I let her have The Green Mile. Hell, she's almost 14. Was just worried about some of the more explicit sex scenes in some adult books. But man, the music they all listen to and the stuff they talk about geez....and I have read some of the stuff they write back and forth and they know it all....so anyway....fell asleep in the hammock for awhile, cat got in with me. Almost hot enough fo AC...showed the kids how to make scrambled eggs this morn. Thats it? they tell me. Yeah...well, I hate the smell of eggs, now they can make their own...oh RC that was me and my youngest in the pic...kinda bored but don't want to clean....b

Love and :huggy 's to you both! Hubs got on a cleaning binge today, which helps, but then he leaves out everything he pulls out. So I've been 'sweetly' pointing out the mess he's made, explaining this is one more thing I have to do. He looks at me and says 'but I mopped!!', while the mop and bucket are sitting in the middle of the floor, as well as everything else he has used. There is NO relief here when you live with a man.

Hello everyone. I stayed up until 2:00 last night. Then I was having a weird sort of heart palpitation. I finally took a Lorazepam and fell asleep a little after 2:00. Woke up at noon. Hubby wanted to lay down so he started scratching my back. I didn't wake up untill 2:45!!! Maybe I need to stop taking those dang pills!!!!

I love all the pictures here and all the talk. Makes me feel so at home. I love seeing everyone and getting to know them.
I had planned on getting so much done today and I haven't. So I better say goodbye for right now.

Well I didn't get near my wood done. But I'm stocked inside for a few days and the pile outside is covered. Made a crock pot of stuff-sirloin-veggies and an interesting twist--old jar of pickled zuccini
relish--bit odd looking on top but scooped it away and dumped half it in. yeehaw smells yummy
Prolly late for most's supper but you are all welcome to be my guinea pig.

Sun good luck today at your cancer check up. Will be sending out good luck vibes....Up early as usual. Would kinda like to be able to sleep longer sometimes but I guess routine is good. Put a pot of blackbeans on with pickled peppers. Wasn't that Peter Piper? Don't know if I ever heard of pickled zuccinni though. I know I didn't spell that right....Was thinking we should make up some T shirts for the June meet up, like people have those family reunion T's. Wonder how much$. Maybe make our own says the Journey on front?....kids trying to round up a bunch to go bowling Fri. I said well there better be more parents there than just me. Don't know how the teachers do it.....gotta go practice piano and ride bike.....later

Hallo to everyone else when they get here - I work mid shift today so might have to go straight from appt to work depending on time. Hope not as I won't feel ready - that means will have to take food with me now and I am not sorted for that!! Anyway, must go and get ready.
