                  GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! I have had a great nights sleep and am getting ready for work. It is really cold here this morning but at least no rain or snow. Hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and are feeling good. I am sure we will be busy today which is good - sales translates into hours for the staff so they will be pleased plus the day goes faster! See you all later.

                    Sunni, I keep forgetting black Friday since I don't participate in the frenzy. Nothing is worth that hassle!! It was so hot here (78F) MIL's made me nearly pass out when I went in yest. Perspiring so much I left a butt print on the wooden chair, fogged up my glasses. :H
                    Hope everyone is hale and hearty today, time for me actually make a breakfast for my needy Hubs. Thinking about building a Waffle House at the end of our drive, just for him.

                      Hi all
                      We went downtown last night to see them turn the lights on and there are a million people there. The kids saw some of their friends and hung out in the coffee shop awhile. Came home and 1 went to spend the night down the road. Got my xmas lights up outside, Trying to build a bread oven out of mud I saw in a magazine it takes forever...my kid posting on fb she is depressed over breakup with bf this is 3 or 4 weeks ago and she doesnt seem very depressed to me other than listening to alot of love songs. I don't know, and if she keeps on about it I think I'm gonna have to get the school counselor to talk to her.....well she wants to go bowling tonight with her friends I guess we will go. Well, I just worry about my kid she writes fiction like stephen king and I wonder what is going on up there sometimes. Gotta go and later......b

                        Mel, you have a very intelligent, sensitive child, that's all. Keep doing what you are, being there for them, letting them know what is important. I remember lying on the couch crying over love songs. Technology changes, people don't.

                            I'm home!!!!
                            What a crazy day.....Mom had 37 people over.....everyone brought a dish and it was fabulous, but by the time we got it all put out and served it was cold. I didn't have the heart to tell Mom, though. She roasted a turkey and two beef tenderloins that were delicious. They we cleaned for what seemed like hours and flopped into bed. Dad took the boys to Waffle House and then we came on home.
                            Sounds like everyone had a good day. I'm glad you made it home safely.

                            Bird, I agree with everyone else, You are doing a great job and we all know teenage girls are dramatic. But you know her best so do what you think is right.
                            Roger...I wish my day had been as peaceful as yours looks!
                            Ruby - I was sweating like a pig, too. But I was running around hostessing so that was prolly why.
                            One thing i hate about going up there is ......NO LEFTOVERS:upset:

                            grateful, hope the baby is feeling better.
                            I am worrying about Vicki....her family is such a trigger for her.
