                  When we don't have the money to spend, and I can tell you tales about buying for a multitude on less than a hundred bucks, we have to remember why we're celebrating. I'm still working on the people I want to include reading the 2 recordable books for Tip's children. They were expensive, but all Hallmark is, but the idea is to have my long-distance grands listen when they want to to the family here they don't get to share with very often. Hubs is going to read 'The Night Before Christmas' one, since it's a from a man's point of view. The other is 'Bright & Beautiful, (a Child's Blessing') I will start and finish, but I want Hub's parents and 'the cousins' to participate, so my loves will feel they have a little part of them sometimes. Remember, it's the little thoughts that count. (Even though they go wild for the big stuff for about 15 minutes!! :H).

                      Hey everyone, I am home - and yes, we were busy. We opened at 8.00 but there were people driving past from 7.00 onwards (at a bookstore??). Anyway the day flew by which is always good and it was a fun day. Glad everyone had a good day yesterday too. I NEVER EVER go shopping when it is busy - if I have to shop, I will go out as soon as the shops open on a Monday or a Sunday morning - the quietest time I can find. Or send hubs - he actually LIKES shopping. Crazy man. This year we have really toned things down - can't afford as much as we would like - or really think we need to spend! Told the girls that we are not spending as much as usual. It isn't necessary and I think the whole thing has gotten out of hand. That is my tuppence worth!

                      Now, I need to go and get something out of the freezer for dinner. I told Mags that she could have salmon tonight - one of Dierbergs 10 for $10.00 specials! She is so pleased! back later all!

                        Welcome home Sunni Bunni....go put your feet up ans make sure to kiss Maggie for me. I got all teary today when I read Sheri's post about Casper. It made me think of you all here and how much you love your dogs.
                        I gotta do the same thing....go cook dinner.

                              Your picture was wonderful. So glad you had that opportunity with everyone.
                              Hubs couldn't wait until bedtime. I fed his ass early, then the dogs. Then bathed the little dogs and watched them go nutz. We sat down on the couch to watch a few TV programs together, but Sadie (his dog) sat in his lap and farted SO bad for an hour I was looking for things to fan the toxic fumes back at them. (He asked me if I fed her sulphur!) It was deadly; I knew it was coming when I saw Hubs blinking rapidly and turning his head. I believe she could power a Mars mission.
                              I'm SO missing our buddies here. I know I'll miss people, but Vick, Tony, Trapped, Maslow, Panno, Swanny, Grateful, et al, PLEASE check in. And all you new folks who made a few posts, COME BACK!! We don't bite. We're safe, we really want to help. People are busy, worried, scared, everything else. But this is a good place to be.
                              And of course, the beautiful RC!!! (has your tan faded yet???)
