    Morning friends!! I'm pooped. :H It was so great to see them. They were exhausted though. That was a lot of flying. 9 hours on the first flight and then 6 on the second. Anyway - I'm off to work now. I will catch you all later.

          I'm back, and I was wrong - it's damn COLD out there!! Cloudy, windy, then to top it off, rain. And I had to go to a bunch of government offices (big whoopee!) and get my car inspected. Then to the Dry Cleaners, post office, grocery. SOOO nice to be back in my house, where it's warm and the dogs missed me. Hubs won't be home till late, of course, so time to make him some dinner.
          Oh, and at one of the government offices, where we go through a maze of checkpoints and metal detectors, the guy manning the door was the one I've won a big garnishment on. Surprised I didn't end up with a strip search. :H
          Ya'll are very quiet here today on your first work day after the holidays (not you, SunShine; I know you are the hardest working person here :huggy) Swanny, this must be what English weather feels like here, 'cause it sure ain't Georgia's!

            Hi all!! There's a Birthday thread started for Vicki. Please add your wishes. Just because she's away on vacation, doesn't mean we shouldn't have a thread for her. She might have access to internet where she is and log on here and it would be a shame if we hadn't all posted. She'd be devastated thinking we'd forgotten her. Just saying...

                    Yay Bird!!! What a relief.
                    I posted for Vicki on FB too, but will add to this thread.
                    As usual, interview went great!!! We hit it off really well. She is making a decision by the 15th and told me I am one of her top candidates. She also has an internal applicant. That worries me. Companies love to promote from within.
                    Have foot propped up, doing a little laundry and will start dinner in a bit. roast pork...yummy!!
