Ah, nice Sunday here in the Eastern US. Not too cold yet, but cold enough to take the air conditioners out! I saw Captain here - I remember him from one of my many un-sober times here. Loved reading his posts!

Oney - sorry about your sick kiddo - my little one is finally better. Phew.

No sleep again, but that is what I get for living in the damn city with all the idiots who think doing drugs and roaming the streets till 3:30 a.m. is cool. I just don't know where the parents are of all these teens! Drives me crazy. Can't wait to move out and get a house with a wraparound porch and some peace and quiet. Where we live is nice (for the city) but I am done.

Zen - so sorry that your friend is suffering. Cancer is indeed a beast from hell.

Chill, I don't envy you. That sort of thing paralyzes me. But your new self will handle it far better than your old self.

Capt jack was around a lot some time ago and is a real sweetheart. Lived on his boat and adored his cute little daughter. I'm thrilled to see he has been sober for a year now, like most of us he had some ups and downs during that elusive phase.
