I can imagine. Peri-peri (SA spelling) is one of my favourite spices.

It's hummus with peri-peri spice in it... An alternative to paprika, I imagine. Hotter and spicier.

It's kinda portuguese by now. But made from African bird-eye chillies. Hence its popularity in Mozambique.

You MUST try prawns with peri-peri as well...
