Good morning, everyone

I woke up to stillness around me this morning. Yes: the wind had died down overnight, and I was happy. Then I opened the outside door of our bedroom and looked at my formerly sparkling pool :upset::upset::upset: It is covered in dust and debris, with a lovely leafy carpet at the bottom.

Oh well... let the vacuuming begin...

Morning!!

Wrapped all my Christmas pressies last night, took me 3 hours.Still more to buy tho but the bulk of it is done. I shall have 34 pressies, wrapped, tagged and bagged by Dec 30th...Then I can relax and enjoy the month of December with the kids.Altho when I say 34 pressies, some people have more than one so it's actually about 100 I have to wrap!

Limey, the Santa breakfast sounds DEADLY! Wish I could make it, butwe will meet up some Saturday soon in town??

I adore Christmas Ktab...everything about it, the pressies, the build up, the hype, the good, the preparation...I enjoy it throughly....the little minx will totally understand about Santa this year and I cannot wait to see her face... Altho we have a lot less money than last year, it is going to be a fantastic Christmas..Life is BLOODY good.

Would be great if you could bottle that enthusiasm and hand it out. Its lovely to hear you in such a good place. I know I go on about money and my financial situation but seriously, life's lessons have have taught me its true worth. It is very low on my list of priorities, once we have enough for the very basics, a roof over our heads, food and heat, all the rest is icing. OK I need to hop in the shower then eat. Be back in a while.

SO true Ktab, Wob always sees the glass as half empty....I honestly think we are VERY lucky...ok, we have no money in the bank and live from week to week BUT we have a house, food on the table and the kids want for nothing......we have SO much more than a lot of people in Ireland today.
