Phew!!! What a day so far. I got dumped with a very high-profile issue in our environment. Have been fighting fires all day. Everything is mostly under control now, though. But I don't want another one like this anytime soon.

Haven't read back... hope everyone is doing well (or at least as well as can be).

Chill certainly seems to be in good spirits!!!!

Well, I'd a nice nap and am ready for today.
I finally got back into my work rhythm after my hols. The first week back dragged in but I'm settled again.
Tomorrow I have a friend's Birthday party. Normally I would try and get out of it but I've known her for many years and I have a feeling that her husband would be miffed if we didn't go so I'll arrive 'fashionably late' and try and enjoy it. I'm done with parties and such. They're not fun anymore. I was never Mr. Sociable and I've come to appreciate a quiet life.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend whatever you're doing and come out the other end peaceful and happy.

but it was your fellow countryladies's fault...she led me astray with talk of things that go buzz in the night..!!

have a happy party tomorrow am sure you'll enjoy it once you're there, espcially as she's an old friend, I've lost all of mine along the way..too much travelling, mind you facebook has put me in touch with quite a lot of old faces from my youth.. found loads from my old boarding school days..
when I was bought up to be a "young lady"...:H
