Oh yummy! I can't wait to see what you think. I don't have everything I need yet to make it, I'll be making mine soon though. I think I may make some salt dough though today so the babe can make some Christmas ornaments then we'll bake them, paint them and hang some on the tree and some will go as little extras for Christmas presents; I know the close family will love them. It's too freakin' cold to do anything yet outside..and a little dark.

Ho Mollyka! I'm building an addition onto my house! We're very excited. The cement work is getting done now and thankfully I have a Dad who is a wonderful Contractor and he is building it for me! I just keep the coffee going at all times, make nice meals and make sure he's happy.
No AL in red velvet cake, all safe!
Marble cake would be delicious right now,

It's taken me 2 days of going backwards and forward to the shops to get everything I need, but I'll let you know how it goes so I'm now away to stand in front of the oven.

I'm the same way when I'm baking something new; I sit and watch it the whole time till it's done.
Chill - It's a full moon tonight? Good to know I'll be AF.

Cement work will make you ache. It can be hard going but it'll keep you warm.

Hi and By Mario! Congrats on the new laptop!
Cement work is hard work, but it does keep you warm that's for sure. I could use some manual labour anyway, it's a great workout.

Happy Sunday everyone! It's frickin' freezing here in the East US and thank God the heater got fixed. It was out a few days and with this big old drafty house, space heaters just don't cut it! Looking forward to cleaning the rest of the house to get ready for the onslaught on Thanksgiving. I was out of work for 2 days last week sick, but tried to keep up with the emails between barfing bouts (I pretty much have to be bleeding out my eyes for my boss to believe I am actually sick), but I did what I could and I will not stress about it. Gone are the nights of anxieties and non-sleep made worse by being buzzed. I am learning to just let things go now that I have a clearer head. It is pretty cool. Well off to get showered and ready for church. Hope everyone has an awesome day.

                            Army Thread Sunday 21st Nov

                            :hallo: Army

I'm back from doing the weekly grocery shop. I fell into the classic trap: I went shopping on an empty stomach. For example, I bought 2 packs of buttermilk rusks, just so that I can compare brands...

It's turned into a lovely early summer day here. Around 21C with mostly sunny skies (a few puffy white clouds here and there) and a light breeze. The neighbourhood is blanketed in the typical Sunday afternoon quietness. Mrs. T is snoring away gently in the spare bedroom whilst the cubs are revising their maths for their exam this week.

I'm contemplating what to make for dinner.

                            - stir fry ( fresh ginger, garlic, pineapple, oyster sauce, soy sauce, chillies, shredded cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, finely sliced chiken fillet)
                            - roast beef (too wintry?)
                            - steak & chips (30 day vacuum packed matured sirloin...)
                            - moroccan chicken (butterflied and already marinated)

                            ....

It's not as if I stuffed myself last night. Yeah right...
                            I'll do whatever it takes
