Jackie, are you sure about those measurements. Sounds like an awful lot to ice a cake. Ditto the nauseous part....

I like the part about Mr. JC creaming the butter and the cream cheese. Mr. Stirly doesn't even know what "creaming" means. Except to knock the heck out of someone...

Just in the door, having a cup of tea and a curly bread sambo, you would think at my age I would know better than to buy a loaf of bread in the local shop at 10.20pm on a sunday night.
Dont be worrying yourselves about all that bail out stuff, it will be fine. We have been through worse.

Hmm Molly maybe you should talk to someone who lived through the 40s & 50s when kids at 15 were straight out of school and onto the mail boat, years before europe bailed us out the first time when we joined what was then called the common market. Shall I also mention 17% interest rates in the 70s and rampant inflation? I think people need to look around them and see what we actually produce that allows us to live at a standard of living in the top 10% in the world. If you find out let me know.

Yeah, s'pose so. I'm just mad gloomy and edgy about all this at the moment. I knew a man whose parents put him on a boat when he was 13 to go to work in Britain cos he was the eldest of 10 kids and they couldn't feed them so yes you're right. I remember the interest rates at 17%, avoided them cos I was in the bank at the time! Yeah you're right KT but it is hard to see the bastards that put us in this mess getting away scot free, anyways, no more moaning from me, night!
