Army Thread 22nd November
My favourite trick was getting so sloshed on xmas eve that I couldnt eat my dinner on Christmas day. I realised after a few attempts that wasnt working too well so used to stay in xmas eve and then drink twice as much on Chrimbo day to make up and then St Stephens day was a wash out. Actually the first bottle of vino would be nearly be gone while I cooked dinner.
What was I thinking??Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

My Dad was the same Ktab, used to visit the neighbours on Christmas morning and one year got REALLY pissed, went for a lie down and got up at 9.30 that night looking for his dinner, thought it was the afternoon."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"

It was a tradition that we all went out on xmas eve, except DW of course. She would be the one at home getting the calls saying I will be home in an hour, then another, then another and then was left to pick up the pieces.
All I can say is that it wont be happening this year.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

I remember getting angry one year, I was about 17 and I brought it up and was shouting at him and telling him that he had to stop drinking, so he put his head thru a glass door(out of anguish or guilt, or anger...dunno which) and I was the one who was sent to my room for the whole of Christmas......that year was wank."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"
