Bloody hell! We've just had a huge fright.

One of our ginger cats got a fish hook through his one cheek and lower eyelid. We heard him meowing at the window and when he didn't stop, Mr.s T saw that he was stuck - the hook was connected to a mess of thick fishing line and four or five more hooks - huge ones. It had gotten tangled in the burglar bars.

We've rushed him to the vet. He's being sedated before the hook can be removed and the eyelid repaired. He'll have to stay the night and most of tomorrow.

OMG Tips. That is freaking awful. Poor little guy. Lucky it didn't go into his eye or something.

It's a huge relief that it's just tissue damage. He might have problems with the eyelid later on, because it's quite badly torn, but I'm sure the vet will do his best. We've been taking our pets to him for the past 15 years. He's really good at what he does...

Hope he can properly repair it. We have a couple- man and wife, I mean who are our vets. The woman is wonderful. I've only been taking Freddie to her for the last four years but I have complete confidence in her. You can tell how much she loves animals by the way she examines them and such. So careful and caring. It's great when you have someone you trust to look after yer animules. There certainly have been enough animal scares and deaths here at MWO over the past few months. I think it all started with Larry...
