    Brain Recovery After Abstinence

Hi CH, this is certainly good news. Although, if we spend so much time pickling our braincells, I don't think we will ever return to where we started from. I have noticed a huge improvement since I stopped drinking. Not just in the first month, like the abstract of the study, but a steady improvement. My memory is much much better, being able to find words on the spot is really improved. I have noticed an improvement in finishinng my sentences, and speaking clearly all the time. The cognitive functioning is so much better, when our body is not fighting poisen all the time.

Hill, I've also noticed an improvement in similar things as you describe. And, that's aside from all the other things our body isn't having to overcome - what it's doing to our livers, other organs.
