    Army Thread 29th November

    Just a quick afternoon lurk.

That's defo me in there. International woman of mystery:k

One of the gutters has come down the conservatory because of the weight of the snow.........rummaging in drawer for house insurance this evening.

If it carries on like it's snowing today it'll not only be me feet it'll be me legs that are missing by tomorrow.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

          :hallo: Army

I am an offcial retail slut... I took the cubs to a local Christams market (it only runs for a week every year) just to buy some freshly baked pancakes with cinnamon sugar.

Boy oh boy... The pancakes cost ZAR16.00. I walked away ZAR370 poorer...

          - Ginger beer
          - Choc brownies
          - Olive pesto
          - Smoked olives
          - Dried fruit rolls
          - Dried bananas
          - Sweet mustart sauce
          - Onion marmalade
          - Garlic sauce
          - Balsamic & EVOO dressing
          - Candy apricots (not candied)
          - Fudge

The dried fruit rolls & ginger beer was bought for Mrs. T :H
          I'll do whatever it takes

Hi everybody!! Finally got back on line after having computer problems. :hateputer:

Tips, that's just under 40 euros. Doesn't seem a lot for a list so long. I expect a few of the things like ginger beer were more than one can. Anyway, some very interesting things there. I didn't know you could buy smoked olives...

All that talk about snow and cold. Brrrr... Loved Jackie's picture but how do we know it's really her. I guess by her wellies. She did describe them the other day. Love the scarf she's wearing. It looks familiar..

As for Leslie Nielson - here's a tidbit of info that I bet most of you didn't know - he was Canadian as is Justin Bieber. Actually there are a lot of Canadian actors and musicians that people think are American...

:H:H Actually there were a few names in the list of famous Canadians whom I thought were Americans as well. Pamela Anderson, for example. I had no idea that she was born in Canada.

                        Hiya Oney, Waggie & Stirly

I actually got rather a lot of stuff for the money. Oh... and I forgot the pack of buttermilk rusks. Delicious when dunked in coffee till it goes slightly soggy

I've gone rather soggy in the brain from overeating... just had leftover curry from last night with 2 rotis, and then sampled some of the stuff I bought. OK,OK - I sampled some before eating dinner as well...

Nothing, unfortunately. Didn't see news reports either (but didn't go looking for that part of the world in particular, just scanned my usual news sites, where they only covered the snow in the UK).

Evening All. Have a quick gaze in wonderment at Mr and Mrs Pavertotty on there way to the opera while I give Jan a quick text

Just checked out FB. She was doing something in Farmville 6 hours ago so I guess they got through the night okay. Maybe she's having problems connecting with MWO for some reason...
