    Life is good.

Totally agreed Sapph - this is a bloke who took a performance-enhancing drug in 2003 to improve his appearance :H:H (source: Wikipedia) I reckon he's a few snarlers short of a barbie.

Bridge - that bounty looks mighty good! When I find my camera, I'm going to show off my tomato plants!!! The Russian Reds are set for a bumper crop. We are getting a dose of hot but humid and drizzly weather and everything has shot away (including the weeds and grasses, but I'll deal to them with a bit of spray - ** evil grin **). I have managed to grow basil outside for the first time ever!!! (I usually get it to sprout from seed to seedling, and then I take it outside and it dries out and/or gets eaten by bugs. Whereupon I but ready-made plants from the supermarket :upset

      CW - vegemite?? :H

Mr B and I looked at a house about a month ago, simply because we thought we would be able to have chooks there. It was a pity that the house was in such disrepair!! However, I can feel a move coming on in 2011 ........ also helped by the fact that his son has said (not just to Mr B, but also his mum and the lawyer that looks after his interests on behalf of the Family Court) that he definitely wants to come to live with us for his secondary schooling (starting 2012).

G boy. Step away from Hurley. We don't know where she's been. [Well, we DO more's the worry.]
And yes....I agree....we can't have our Warnie being 'confused' by anyone can we ? Bad enough that he has to deal with the circular white noise of indiginous porn that must surely echo around in that cavernous skull of his.

Saffy, good luck with it all from the bottom of my heart.

Are you tired of the Christmas obligations yet Missy ? I am. I find the B rate Christmas music being piped into my brain in every shop quite tiresome. MAN there is some bad Christmas music out there.

Sapphy - diitto from me. Any news?

Actually Bridge, I'm sort of avoiding Christmas this year!!!! The only presents I have had to buy have been of the Secret Santa variety, and I found a great craft store that does really nice stuff. What I really hate about that Secret Santa stuff is that it just encourages people to buy cheap plastic shit that just ends up in land-fill! Anyway, I'm avoiding the stores - the B-rate xmas music doesn't do anything for me either!!

But can I recommend James Taylor's Xmas album for having on the background and getting into the Xmas spirit!! Also the sound track from "Snoopys Christmas" (not the Royal Guardsman's version - although I love that too!! - but the sound track from the movie in late 1960s-early 1970s)

We did all out family stuff in October when my niece got married in Sydney, and agreed that we would alll do what we felt like for December. So we are just going to have a quiet time at home, Mr B in charge of ham and Xmas pudding, me in charge of salads and breakfast (brioche with home made chicken liver/bacon/orange zest pate). Mum will come up for an hour or two, during which time we will skype my other siblings and hopefully it will be nice weather so we can have a snooze in the afternoon!! And I found a very nice Spanish sparkling peach flavoured grape juice on sale at the supermarket on Sunday and bought the last 4 bottles :H

Mr B and ex have turns for Xmas with his boy, so he wont be coming here until early Jan (which is not a bad thing ...... last year he was so tired from the end of the school year and hyped up over Xmas and New Year ..... and I was pretty stressed with my brothers cancer and mum being sick .... so it was all slightly fraught at times!). Anyway he will come in early Jan, I will go back to work that week so he and Mr B will have some time to reconnect properly without me around, then we will head off for a weeks adventure in tents and motor camps which we are currently planning and will be great fun!! (and including a medieval jousting tournament!!)

Never mind the white noise, that's easy compared to his white teeth. He's got the most ridiculously whitest choppers I've ever seen - like he soaks 'em in NapiSan. They're dazzling.

                                Oh my God folk.
I don't mean to download all the time, but yet another drunken, asinine conversation with a pissed relative up here. Talk about hard work. Defensive and obnoxious......or should that be defenshive and benoxshous........?
No wonder I've had so much trouble giving up drinking. I am completely surrounded by alcohol culture. And boy, don't we drunks defend our disease before quitin time ?
I am frigging exhausted by that conversation. I could hear her 15 year old son in the background telling her that she was 'shitfaced' and she is going to 'die a slow painful death from liver disease'................:upset:
