    Underoos and Friends - December.....

    Morning all,

Wow - good to see Wavey and Shas were here last night.

Early start to purge the Lounge today. Should be relatively quick and easy. More coffee required before I launch the assault.

Be useful, beautiful or joyful today, Undies.

Come to think of it ... why not be all three?

      Wavey! Shas! CW!

      Okay that's enough exclamation marks.

Wavey - I don't know about bait, but how about putting some fine netting over your fledgling crops?

Mr G - that cold or bug or whatever it is has been hanging on for far too long. When do you get a whole day to stay in bed and recover?

Is there something about this time of year that requires cleaning?? I laughed when I read about Bridge and TF efforts as we spent yesterday cleaning out the garage (big trip to the landfill coming up today) and the office. And I waterblasted the deck and re-planted the front garden. (TF: Mr B had great misgivings about buying me a water-blaster, but it was the best Xmas present he has ever given me!!)

I have to say that I'm very happy that Xmas is past. I've been feeling that I'm going to be very happy to say goodbye to 2010 and I want to make 2011 so much better! I will turn 50 in 2012, and I have great ambitions for then, so I want to spend 2011 preparing for making the most of it!

      Go hard undies

Thanks Missy. Yep, above cocktail throughout the day. The fever seems to be passing, just my head is very blocked and a headache cause of pressure on the sinuses or something. So clearing the head is my mission now. Hope you have a beaut day.

Ta TF. Looking good on that front i reckon. The vegemite poultice appears to have worked it's magic overnight.

Ah well, if there was ever a woman that was up to the challenge I reckon it would be you!

My challenge for 2011 is to get myself running again. I can do everything else, I just cant run!!!

Ah Missy. Sure you can run. Just remember what the Kenyan's say.....'Let the run come to you'. This helps me on slow, or challenging outings.

Missy, eucalyptus is good for unclogging the head, non? I can just get some and sniff it? Or do that blood steam thing?

yes, it is really good for clearing nasal passages. And I dont know about how things are in Melbourne, but the good weather and lack of wind here has raised our pollen count hugely here (I dont normally get hay fever, but this year I've had terrible probs with it). So if your fever has reduced but you are still blocked up that might be contributing. Couple of drops of oil in hot water in a bowl and inhale it (towel draped over head and bowl). Or a few drops in the bath if you have one.

Where's Nurse Jones when you need her :H:H
