Tawny. No, i haven't been down that 'talking to someone' road, but i think it's a very good one to walk if you're feeling it. The difficulty is definately how to find a counsellour/psychologist we feel comfortable with, and who knows their stuff. A G.P. is a good place to start, and he/she can refer you to someone. If you have a good G.P. you trust, he/she should be able to recommend someone to you. Keep asking around and researching. Good luck with it.

Oi!!!!! whats with the apologies TF?????? For fusk sake life is bloody serious from time to time and there are times when we all look around our lot and ask the "whats it all mean, whats the point, where is it heading conundrum". I have employed and sacked as many as twelve counsellor/psychologists/psychiatrists over the past ten years and became heartlily sick of mamby pamby piss weak "facilitators" I wanted someone to give it to me straight; to really know and feel hopefully from life experience and not 'Carl Jungs" latest dog eared theories. I wanted someone smart enough, intuitive enough to kick the guts out of my povlovian conditioning and drag me up by the boot laces from the miserable black hole that I fell back into with consummate ease.

I eventually found a fantastic more senior psychologist who could do just that!!!! For the record he was from Saffa Land. I saw him fortnightly for 12 months and it turned my life around. I heartily recommend it but its like anything else you have to shop around before you find someone that you click with. Different strokes for different folks......there are so many different counselling styles around..you just have to find one that works for you.

BTW rant over......Hello my lovley undies....Have had the most wonderfully inspiring; challenging and thought provoking day. I just love this new job!!!!!!!! I staggered in the door stuffed at 8pm and I am rearing do do it all again tomorrow. Off to shower and into bed...btw I told heaps of lies to Father Kelly in the confessional too......seems to be a theme emerging here (lying in the dark box, now find it hard to really say it how it is and expose "the naughty child"
