    Underoos and Friends - December.....

I do hope your dog recovers quickly. Tell her she has to come back, fighting fit, soon.

On another note, Ginger Beer is lovely....my mum used to make it and it was so strong it took your breath away. Must admit, though, the stuff these days is a bit namby pamby in comparision.

It is my imagination or are there far more soft drinks available now than there were a few years back. I stocked up the other day and the range available was huge....even in QLD. Or it is just because (a) it's Christmas or (b) I have only ever looked at drinks in a bottle shop and never looked in the soft drink aisle.
Thanks for that CW, I'll pass on your message to her. Yep I think you are right about the soft drink range..it is huge. I try not to drink it as it kicks my sugar cravings in and then I start getting cravings for alcohol. GInger Beer.....to be fair I only ever tasted it when I was a kid, mum used to make it from scratch from some sort of diabolical looking starter...looked like something out of a witches pantry. It was really strong and yuck!!!!

Girlz now I'm not sure I want to try the ginger beer now. I was excited to try something new. I thought is was a commercial beverage like coca-cola, ginger ale, or beetroot juice. I didn't realize it's some concoction of differing recipes. BTW, Saff I left a holistic pet link on the bootcamp for Saffy.

Techie - the girls are telling fibs. It's fantastic stuff. A good Aussie brand is Bundaberg Ginger Beer; the best adult soft drink ever.

              Techie,

I can confirm that TF is indeed being honest and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks really exists. They even have a train at their site to carry the sugar cane.

Sorry to be an anorak, but when I was working in transport, we used to transport their stuff. Their Lemon, Lime and bitters is rather nice too and the pink grapefruit.

I suppose I shouldn't tell you this but back in June, I tasted an English alcoholic Ginger Beer. Luckily, it was only a taste as I think it could have been drunk quite easily. Now if they could make the same taste and make it AF it would be perfect.

                kissing up to Frog...

The Frog has NEVER LIED TO ME Charlotte. Even when she rejects me I know its a truth I cannot deny. Recently she said get.off.me and I did. If the Frog says its Bundaberg and that they don't make boots, by James I believe her. It MUST be a wonderful beverage.

Ok Charlotte so she is leading me astray again. I appreciate your honesty. She always does this to me. Recently she said get.off.me and I didn't. If the Frog says its Bundaberg and that they don't make boots, by James they probably do make boots. If they made ginger beer it MUST taste like shit.

I made my own ginger beer when my girls were little and it exploded one night. It took months to clean it off the laundry walls and ceiling.

RIGHTY-HO, Sunshine ... let's get this thing sorted once and for all! I have to
reject you because if I don't, your legion of followers are going to have my guts for garters and I'm kinda attached to my guts and not in immediate need of garters. So just keep it stumm, will ya? BTW - thanks for the baby wombat - it's gorgeous.

In other news - what on earth are we going to call Charlotte's Web? I'm fusked if I'm going to type out that lengthy sobriquet five times a day. Spam was easy-peasy. So what'll it be? Charlie? Chazza? Webbo? Oinker?

Today has felt like a Friday. Don't know why.

                        Carry on ...

Yep, I reckon. Saffy has the Undies healing invisibility cloak over her.

Also spreading it over the cat picked up from the SPCA today ... has been in a road accident and has a broken jaw and pelvis. He is a lovely boy (healthy coat, very affectionate and a cute face) and obviously very well looked after, but not micro-chipped so they cant trace his owner. We will look after him until he is better ... and that will be in the new year, when lots of people adopt cats, so he has a bright future ahead! Hope his existing owner contacts the SPCA though.

Bundaberg ginger beer is a pale imitation of Phoenix. And I perfected a home-made recipe 2 years ago, but it had a huge sugar content which is why I gave up doing it. (On the other hand, it was strictly root ginger and organic lemons!!) I've been looking at using stevia, but apparently you dont get the same chemical reaction with the yeast which is what makes it fizzy. Experimentation weekend coming up.
                              Happy birthday Wavey!

And n the subject of what we call Charlotte's Web, I vote for Charlie, Lottie, or Babe But you get the casting vote CW!!
