    Underoos and Friends - December.....

One of the meanings of "cockle" is the chamber of a kiln: in reference to the heart, it refers to the chambers, of which there are four (two atria and two ventricles). The heart has always been associated with emotions, especially love, excitement and fear, probably because when we feel a strong emotion we feel our heart thumping and beating faster. So when something "warms the cockles of our heart", it is a reference to something pleasant that makes our heart beat faster and makes us feel good. It is probably also the origin of the saying that something gives us that "warm and fuzzy feeling".

Warm and fuzzy is good. Indiscriminate, flagrant and promiscuous throbbage is not.
Thanks for that Tawn, you have solved an age old mystery to me....quite interesting innit?

Have you met the Frog in person? Have you been to the Frog's house. Did you find out the Frog's real name?

              Hi All,

              Lovely pics today.

The Frog is a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

                She can not be known.

                  Morning folk's,

Well, we didn't appear to get that storm you spoke off yesterday arvo TF, not in town anyway.

Back to the coalface today. Wishing everyone a safe, sober, and magical day.

It's amazing, and my work rate on this score is natural, joyous, effortless, and true. So much time was lost (many, many year's) and wasted sitting around a metre or so from recording gear, and the tool's to do the job. Preferring to spend/waste my time drinking and ripping myself off. I'm sure catching up now. There is so much flowing out. Some average, some good, it doesn't matter to me.

No no. Not that privileged. One has to work their way through several more security levels to presidential before that can happen.

But Tawny did publish a photo of the Frog house earlier on. It is trully enchanting.

Anyway. We'll stop talking about you as if you're not here now Froglet. :H

I always resisted the image of alcohol as a demon or devil. I thought it was deflecting responsibility for our actions onto an imaginary third party and that was a bit pathetic.
But when I consider the suffocating suppression on all levels of a persons being that happens when we're caught up in this cycle, it's actually very apt imagery. Like being demonically possessed. Or bullied by an overbearing control freak, and actually conditioning ourselves to allow it to happen.

See this is what happens first thing in the morning when you let me get a good night's sleep.

That's why we developed Undie sign language. There's a chart on the wall over there.

                                Morning Bridge,

Interesting concept that eh? When I am in the grips of a binge (was) there have been many times when I seemed to have crossed over into some kind of demonic underworld and actually had conversations with an evil entity. Whether that so called evil entity is simply the dark side of my own personality, stripped of all civilised boundaries..who knows..but at the time it seemed very real and terrifying. I have a friend who is a devout christian pastor. He spends most of his time going around N.S.W. on exorcisim missions. His idea (not mine) is that we open up our defences when drinking and become under 'Spiritual Attack"....fusk bets to leave the demon drink alone eh!!!!!!!
