The pimple is going. I read your posts and picked out random words which led me to making a paste using vegemite and napisan then applying this to said pimple.

Hiya Tawny and Bridge. And to any other Undies who may be :sofa: Up earlier than usual and having a wee stroll around the boards. Loved that clip with the juggler. Seeing it was a great way start to my day.

Sapph. Wonderful news about Saffy. I sent you a PM. Best of luck on the interview. Will be looking for news about it and your dear doggy.

Hope you all are having a fulfilling day...

Hiya Bridge - is yer hair still lovely?

I realised today that I'm a piss-poor sorry arsed excuse for a woman ... I have NEVER had a professional manicure. How tragic is that?

AND ... I usually get my fringe and ends trimmed at the local coiffery for about $20. Went to Melbourne once for the same do. The little blossom faffed around snipping here and there then she applied 'product' and used some sort of gizmo tool. I asked "what's that?" She told me it was a hair straightener. Novel concept, as I have the world's straightest hair. End result set me back $89.

Tawny, I've never had a professional manicure either and avoid the hairdressing salons like the plague. I cut and colour my hair by myself and it's short. Not an easy feat cutting the back but then I only have myself to blame if it doesn't turn out well. I caved in last summer and got red streaks put in my black hair. I loved the results and the cut was great but the first estimate of 60 euro for the streaks and cut ended up to be 95 euro when time came to pay the bill. She'd forgot to mention that the shampooing after the colour, the hair conditioner, the blow drying and the 30 seconds it took her to run some kind of styling guck through my hair at the end are all extras after the colour and cut. Really irked me TBH. I wouldn't have minded paying but I like to know at the start how much the bill will be and then decide whether or not it's worth it.

                  Did I scare Bridget off??

No it's not lovely. Just long. This is what I'm struggling with. Do I lop er off or dye er red ?
I usually just get Mum to hack it off. Bugger spending 200 big ones at the hairdresser's like some of my mates do. Just gunna tie it back and go bush anyway.

Yep THAT gives me the poops too. The add ons. I like a facial. When I was single and hence rich, I used to go every two weeks ! What a treat. Now I use sorbolene cream and sunscreen. That's it.
Mr G is going to have a lot of fun with this when he logs on tonight.

No love. I don't scare easily.

Every time I get on here I no sooner comment as someone comes to the door or the bloody phone rings.

:wavin: Bridge. Go for the red colour. My natural colour is blue-black but I did the paprika red for a year or so and loved it. Sassy, that's what it was. Sounds like it would suit you. You know, go well with the bush wear.

Ya, I know you don't scare easily. That happens to me whenever I go to the loo. Phone or doorbell....

Had to google sorbolene cream. If it works, why go for anything else. Don't think we have that over here. Sunscreen is good.

                                Blue black. How cool.
I used to like it sort of chestnut brown, but the greys show up too easliy. And it fades.

                                Woe is me.
