Good morning my lovely Undies,
Sorry I missed a couple of days... I had people over for Christmas and they left yesterday...and fairly diff for me to log on as a couple of them are computer nerds and were hogging my study and trying to sort problems with my computer... Their conclusion is get a new one.
Soon as they went I was down for a dive..... and again tomorrow,
Been invited to a tiny unit in Dulwich hill which has a miniscule balcony which has glimpses of Sinny skyline .... so we can watch the fireworks! So, making the obligatory home made sausage rolls, guacamole, and salmon roulade tomorrow afternoon. Only going to stay for the 9 pm fireworks though.

Will call in later this arvo.
Like Bridge and Tawny got clean up to do.

Is ENJO REALLY that good??? Like I don't have to Windex then spend forever wiping it clear???

Well, listening to all you ex catholics makes me glad I'm an ex repressed Presbyterian!

Undies (and others) - serious question ... have any of you ever employed the services of a counsellor/therapist/psychologist/shrink - not necessarily related to drinking issues but Life issues in general? In my immediate circle of friends, no-one ever has (unless of course they're lying and just won't admit it) and I'm wondering if it is it an Aussie thing to think we've got to sort out our shit on our own?

Sorry if this is too D&M but it has become of interest to me lately.

OK you respond to my post, then in the same reply query folks about psychological counseling? This really helps my self esteem issues! Seriously though, counseling has helped me a great deal. Coming from an Irish catholic family, I was resistant at first. We were brought up with the sort out shit on your own mindset. So glad I made the decision to seek out therapy. I was making quite a bit of progress up until last year when life decided to glove slap me again with a separation from my wife and daughter. Divorce, and being somewhat alienated from my daughter are still open wounds. I know I'll successfully pull through, and working with my therapist is key. However, I do know that this is a particularly tough time of year in general. This typically is when I always reevaluate my rather pathetic little life, and pledge to do great things in the new year. I will be GREAT in 2011, and so will you Froglet. *** 7 throbs *** (they only allow six BTW). John

Well - I bit the bullet and found a shrinkage person at the nearest biggish town, a half hour drive away, and phoned her at 9.15 this morning. She didn't sound like a 20 year-old so I left a message on her machine. It's now 4.30pm and I haven't had a return phone call. Just as well I'm not sitting here with my head in the bloody oven.

All's good in frogworld.

I see everythings in organised chaos in the undies house. Tawn that shrink prolly shrunk so much that theres nought left of her....better get someone else. IMHE the bloke shrinks are the ones to go for....the women placate too much and are more easily manipulated into the pity party...sisterhood and all that. But everyones different. Hope she rings back before winter...I for one DO care about your singed hair!!!
