Hallo Saffy - HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you! I am so happy - just got in from work. It is snowing here and I am home safely and don't have to be back at work until Boxing day at 7.00 !!! Don't know if my m-i-l will be able to make it over here for Christmas Day though - she is 84 - Hubs might have to stay there tonight anyway as he works near there and it is supposed to snow through the night so he could bring her tomorrow. Then he works tomorrow so could take her home!! I do hope that she makes it. my daughter said she would go and get her but I don't like the idea of my daughter driving in this either!

No-one else here today apart from Rog and bird, and Rc saying she won't be here - RC - I didn't wish you a Happy Christmas - hope all goes well for you - love and hugs to you - have a great day!! I have just put some Sarah Brightman music on

I will be back - although it seems lonely here today. Must go and wrap my girls pressies- everything else is wrapped!!

I'd like to wish all my wonderful friends a very Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has a wonderful time with family and friends and that you will be surrounded by lots of love. I'm without children this weekend....very sad. But they will all be here Monday evening to celebrate. So, I shall clean the house good on Christmas Day and think of all of you. I feel very blessed to have so many wonderful friends here. Thank you each and every one for being here.

First chance I've had to sit down and wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Yesterday was a fantastic success, the children wild with anticipation, the food out all day, too much for even my crowd to eat!! I had spicy cheese dip, boiled shrimp, little smokies in a spicy sauce, 5 kinds of cheese, summer sausage, pickles, marinated olives and mozzarella balls, sourdough bread and crackers for appetizers; 4 kinds of meats, 10 side dishes, corn bread and homemade rolls, and more cookies, candy, pies and cakes than I can describe! Lots of leftovers, even with all the take out dishes for the kids.
My cousin and his daughter came by for appetizers, and she was so thrilled when I gave her a few small gifts. They were able to meet my grands, sit around and talk. Our step-granddaughter and her family came, and MIL carried around the baby, singing to him (5 months). They all loved their gifts, (more than I realized I had!) took home bags of things. S'granddaughter was so happy to be back after 3 years, loved her gifts, then won the money jar contest. She said she really needed it since they'd run over something and sliced open a car tire. Riley was 2nd, so he got the actual jar, and to see him light up was magical. He never put it down! :H It's been snowing here, and I've talked to all the children, who of course got WAY too much stuff. Last night I was SO tired, I went to bed early and slept til 9 AM. Hubs and I got some wonderful gifts, but I'm over the moon about mine from him - my first every laptop, with all the bells and whistles. Now I need to rent a computer expert to help me learn how to hook everything up and use it! AND one of Hubs gifts I gave him a week ago is a type of hand cream specifically designed for his problem, and it's WORKING! The first thing that has, and he says if that little $6.99 can of cream works, it's the best gift he's ever gotten.
SO, it's been a wonderful and blessed 2 days. I want you all to know you're in my thoughts, and I'm wishing you the most wonderful holiday ever. Swanny, you and your angels have been in my thoughts through it all. God bless us, every one!!

Merry Christmas Family. Bird-that is so cool roasting marshmallows on Christmas Day!! Ruby-I heard that Atlanta was having their first snow on Christmas Day in a long time...we have a blizzard headed our way tomorrow into Monday.....I hope we can get my youngest son home. I had a nice dinner with the in-laws...back home now in my pj's.....I talked to Vicki today....she is having a wonderful time with her family. I hope everyone has a great evening!
