    Cold is my middle name right now Bird.~~My friend bought me an oscillating fan and it is hugely better than the one that broke down. Wood in and just warming my place up. Good job covering the tomats.

      well well everyone is cold and here too too damn cold ,,, but was able to get that one job done and home now the guy was very happy and hoping it bring more work my way and well when i got home had to wake sue up and make sure she ate some food like a good girl well bird stay and get wram same with you RC and grateful baby you too how are you doing girl ... and yes ruby did you take your meds and eat some food today .. well for now have a great night love and hugs

        Georgia is usually one cold day then it warms back up for most of the week. Rains, then colder, then warm, but last year it was just COLD non-stop, brutually so, all winter, till we finally had spring. Was hoping it wouldn't happen again this year; we've had shirt-sleeve Christmas days so many times, but seems to be another bad one headed our way. Of course, from what I've seen, it's so much worse north of us. I just worry about the elderly, children, and homeless out there dealing with it. All my girls are tucked in nicely, with nice warm dinners in their 4-legged bellies, and I wish all the rest out there had the same consideration. Bird, be REALLY careful with your space heating - I know ya'll aren't set up for this normally.
        Grate, thanks for the heads up on Elizabeth Edwards. Political life has to have taken a toll on her, along with the disease, and I've always had such a great respect for her and how she has maintained her dignity through the indigneties her husband heaped on her. God bless her, and keep her soul.
        Everyone, stay safe and warm tonight. Count your blessings, and help out others wherever you can. I will, and can tell you it feels so much better for me than anything I might do for them. Love, and enjoy the season, roomies!

          Hi - just home from work - and COLD. have turned the heat UP. Bird - am gobsmacked that you still have tomatoes......... doesn't it get COLD there???? It is 19 degrees here and that is before the wind chill - with that it brings it down to 9 degrees! I feel so much for the homeless and anyone else who has to be out! We had a homeless lady in the store tonight and I was asking her where she was going when we closed and she said she didn't know - I said there must be a shelter - and then she said she was off home!! But she had been there practically all day! I am pretty sure she is homeless - my heart just goes out to her. but common sense has to take over - Hubs would be mad if I brought everyone home. It is hard though we we have so much. Like a roof - and heat.

          We also heard about Elizabeth Edwards and sounding awful, have ordered a lot of her books in - with her so sick, it will sell. Ghoulish I know, but it is what the public wants when something like this happens and we have to be on top of it. It also makes me realise how lucky I am to be 4 years out and so far cancer free. I am blessed. Gosh - I am counting my blessings tonight aren't I?

          Swannie - I wish you would post - I am worried about you. I will try calling you again in the morning my time.

          Why are you all calling Al Gore Al Whore and thinking it is funny? Am I missing something? Okay - I know he had some negative stuff - but he has also done some really good stuff too. Can't believe I am actually commenting on this - really unusual for me!

          I wish Vicki would post too - this is when we start to worry about her as well.

          RC - I hope that you keep warm - I know it is way colder up there where you are.

          Well, I have fed Maggie and probably need to sort some stuff out and then get to bed. day off tomorrow. Yeah. Might even get the Christmas decs out - it would make a change from putting them up the day before Christmas!! LOL.

            hi all
            goin to work and might ride my bike and that will keep me warm till lunch and I want to shed some pounds. Never get my bike ride in on work weeks. Well I dont usually have tomatoes this late but thought Id try it cuz it usually doesnt freeze up till January but look what happened. Gotta get ready will post a drum pic tonight...

              well all is good here right at the moment sue slept all night i did too ... my hands are freeezing starting to feel more like christmas baaaaa humbuggy and well i like that game that we play sunshine so much ...heres today wordploensimnow rememeber its missed spewelled and there might be a letter or two missing ... have agreat day sunshine and bird stay wram one and all love and BIG BIG HUGGY.............................OH LET THE GAME BEGIN..........

                      HONEY, I'M HOME!!! I had a wonderful vacation, birthday and Thanksgiving! For 8 days, I laid around in the sun listening to the waterfalls in the pools or the waves crashing on the seashore. I had every delicious meal catered to me! It was truly an awesome paradise! We came home Sunday, got in our pajamas and laid around by a warm fire for 2 days. I thought of you all often and pondered over all the advice and encouraging words you have ever said to me and I realized alot of things about myself. I am looking forward to Jan. 1. I am doing a major overhaul, quitting smoking and giving up ALL my addictions as well as personality traits and learning to heal from all my past pain as God has showed me some things about myself that I really don't like. I hope you all are doing great. Today I continue to conquer the mountain of laundry. It's been quite an adjustment coming back to reality. Paul has quit drinking (day 3) and I am trying to encourage him and be there for him. I took over 300 pics and will try to post some here and there. I love you all, Vicki

                                Hey I am home from the cross country interview. Went really well, but not sure I want to drive an hour each way to work. SHe really liked me, so I know I will be getting a second interview.
                                Welcome home Vicki!! Great pics!! I am so proud of Paul.
                                OK RC....it's on!! I will do anything I can to help.
                                Have to go take the little one to ring his Salvation Army bell, then back home. Head has been pounding all day, but I made it to the interview....after being fussed at by adorable husband!!
