Have come to know many others just by reading their posts. Admire the journey so many have taken after arriving here. It is an inspiration to so many of us on the side, reading nightly, just looking for hope, maybe answers to what we are going through in life. We come to know you. Thank you for letting us share in your life and for giving us, with your daily lives, hope for our own.
So good to hear of your plans for Christmas. Have been following everyone, forever.
I keep working with my on-line business. Pays my share of the rent. We moved to a farm house. Got away from the city. Have room to work now, which is a great help.
Have missed you all. I still linger on the side as I suspect many of us do. : )

Hi all
Grace that is good about the farm house. We live in country and is nice....RC send some snow here. We never get any...hey Sun I wear long johns at 50 and everybody laughs cuz I am alaska native. I think cuz I spend all summer outside the cold gets to me easy hahahaha. Biz sorry you are having troubles well shelter pets are 85 bucks here....T glad Sue is getting on better....mb is cleaning I think....rubes I not ready for xmas gotta mail stuff...kids had a great time yesterday shopping is the 1st year they had money and then they wrapped and wrapped......hey I have been corosponding with my cousin in prison now for about a year, she has been in there 25 years and she keeps on and on about the stuff she lost like furniture etc, so I says hell its just stuff yknow you can get more at goodwill and then she writes back and calls me a little brat that it took her a long time to get all that stuff,,,and yknow I dont like writing to her now and see she still the samre person she was always gawd......b

Morning everyone! Bird - that is sad that she doesn't see things any differently after being in there for 25 years. As you said, it is just stuff. Grace - lovely to see you posting - keep posting and join in with us!! RC- 20" - oh my gosh - we have snow here this morning and it is blustery as well. Supposed to keep up all day - not sure if I am going to go and see Bob now. The roads aren't good and there is ice too - don't like driving somewhere I don't know I am going in bad weather. Of course, we won't get anywhere near 20" = more like 2 or 3 which usually wouldn't be a biggie, but I don't like that ice!! Especially as I don't really need to go today - just WANT to.

So pleased last night went well RC. My Mags would give me a really old fashioned look if I tried to feed her green beans! LOL If I give her carrots she shreds them - doesn't eat them, just shreds them and leaves them in a little heap on the floor.

Morning Jammers! Nice to meet you SG! Hope you pop in more often and tell us more about you. Your join date states Dec/10 so I'm guessing you had to sign up again? Bird nice that your kids are getting an extra special Christmas and really enjoying some simple gift giving. Hey Sun~my Magda used to sit at the garbage in the morning while the kids would trim their veggies for school snack. She would eat Celery, carrot, broccoli trimmings as much as they would give her. I never buy those commercial dog bones. The butcher gives me a bag of knuckles for her every once in awhile--no charge. Hope everyone has a nice day! Oh 3 inches so far and falling like a steady, gentle rain. Wish it was rain. boo hoo

Am not driving into St Louis - roads are terrible - just went to the store and saw a lady slide into a yield sign, snap it in 1/4 and 3/4 and her car ended up impaled on the bottom 1/4!!! And she was going really slowly too! Poor lady.

Good Morning Rog - hope you get the bid! RC - how lovely that Magda eats such good food! Maggie is so picky, which is good as she never overeats - if there is a dead anything in the garden, she gives it a WIDE berth and turns up her nose!! LOL No, I don't give her commercial dog bones either.

Busy busy getting ready for my cookie bake. Should be a good time on a cold day. Hot soup, hot cider, hot chocolate, and lots of my babies with flour on their faces!!
Saving, I think of you often. I'm glad times seem better for you. Stay with us, please?
Yes, it's cold as a witches bum, and more to come. Snow just a bit north of us, cold, cold, cold!! But we're all snuggy today, and Hubs is minding his P's and Q's. Had a nice talk with son this morning, explained how much he means to his stepdaughter that Ex enabled, now she's seeing why and what was wrong, so my family is coming back together, without drama on my part. I WILL get out my long johns for the 14 degrees we're expecting, be sure the dogs are in an well-fed.
Gator has been driving me nutz this morning. I've blocked off all the rooms with couches, taken up all the little dog beds, closed off the stairs, and he's found the ONE rug in front of the refrigerator exhaust, which is warm, to curl up in. Unfortunately, we can't open the fridge!! His back legs are so weak, he sits and pivots to turn. Yesterday, he stayed upstairs in bed (their's not mine!) until I finally found him and made him go out and eat. Poor boy, this winter SHALL be hard on him.
What would we have to complain about without the weather?? :H

Good morning, family. We had a good time at the sunday school christmas party last night. Our class is older and much wealthier than us, but I try to mix in with everyone. It was the first class we went to, and I wish we had visited others first before joining this one. It was SO hard to get up and go to sunday school and church this morning because we didn't get to bed until midnight. I was so sleepy and tired, but we did go and now I am looking forward to curling up on the couch in front of a big fire and watching some football. Ruby, I hope you are having fun making cookies with the grandchildren. Biz, welcome home, sweetheart! We have missed you so much. I'm so sorry you feel down. Your wife obviously does not value money to have spent that much on a dog and add stress to you having to pay for it. Grace, welcome and so happy to see you posting. RC and Sunshine, bundle up and stay inside, don't try to drive in the ice and snow. Wish we had snow. If we get 2", we freak out and build snowman and play in it! Roger, glad you are relaxing today and hope you get that bid. Bird, so sorry about your cousin. Tony, Grateful, MB, where are all you guys? I hope everyone has a great day. I'm 7 days sober! No cravings at all. Paul asked if I wanted to go get liquor after the party last night and thankfully, I said no and didn't want any. Glad he didn't ask all last week. But today we are both sober! Hey there Vicki - glad that you had a good time last night and well done being AF AND not having any cravings - I am SO impressed. Trust me Vicki - you don't want snow - the fun wears off oh so quickly! It is very blustery (I LOVE Pooh!) out there and the snow starts and stops. I have already filled the bird feeder twice today and it is half full again already so I think another hour and it will need refilling again - they are going to eat me out of house and home if this goes on! But they need it in this weather.

I talked to Bob's foster mum and am going to meet him on Tuesday. She said that the roads where she lives are really bad too so I am pleased that I didn't go. I have sorted out the kitchen table which tends to get covered with stuff and hoovered too! Go me. Now I just need to get me going to iron! I did actually put the ironing board up last night. That was a good start I thought. LOL

Rubes - hope you are having a good time with the grands and baking! I can just imagine the mess! Where is everyone else? It would be nice if you all just popped in to say hallo....

we went and got our tree at a xmas tree farm. it is really getting cold here and the birds are eating our seeds like crazy too. sounds like a good choice to stay home sun. glad you didnt cave vick and congrats on 1 week..cookie bake is good rubes I gotta do that too. hope you get the job t...i still want snow..I never get tired of it...

NO BIRD - you really don't want snow! It is SO cold here - it is miserable out - not fit for man nor beast - just refilled the bird feeder for the third time today - can't ever remember doing this before!! I really must go and iron. Hubs called and asked what I was doing - (he stays at his mums on Saturday night to help her if she needs anything doing ) - told him I was hoovering - he said "why don't you go on the computer - you probably haven't done that for - oh - at least 10 minutes !" LOL Good job he doesn't mind! Actually have just put an apple walnut raisin cake in the oven. Yum. It is smelling good!! Oh dear - it's time is up but it isn't done yet. Hmmmm. That might be 'cos I was supposed to shred the apples but I wanted chunks not shredded!

I was going to put our tree up today but think I might leave it til next Sunday.
