I have read your story and know where you have come from, but I think it is good to be reminded of it - for folk to see what can be done, to see when one is determined, what can be overcome. I truly think you are incredible Roger and I am so pleased that I have met you on this journey - I feel I have someone - among the many others here in my family - who would really be here for me!

Grateful, I am sorry that you had to put up with that last night - we need to work on that!! Bird - that was a wonderful thing to say - if we didn't have the unhappy, how would we know the happy?

Morning Jammers! Aw Grateful you don't deserve that and don't you forget it! I know you're a reader so will throw this title out at you, Difficult Conversations. I mention it in Sheri's thread "Letting Go with Love" (somethin like dat). It's really helping me to see how we need to remove ourselves from initial conversations to respond in healthier ways. And that does mean to respond in most cases but with a different angle than we normally would. It was cheap on Amazon.
Bird I agree with that statement about the spectrum of emotions and feelings. How would we ever know happiness if we didn't know sadness. Sometimes we do wish there were more balance though, eh....

Tracy jetted me a pm before rushing off to work. She is going to her doctor today to discuss her situation-all out in the open. Good for her! I tried to impress upon her not to isolate and get support from wherever she felt appropriate. ie spiritual, family, friends, MWO, etc
Well so tired of complaining about the weather, so I won't. Or was that a passive complaint?
Going to look for some food, since the cookies aren't forthcoming.....

Cookies? What cookies? They are long gone! LOL. Yes Grateful - I am going to see Bob today - in fact I was just Googling my route. I am going to pop into Wholefoods as a detour and there is a bookshop over there too that I might just pop into as well! Coals to Newcastle eh?? So I have a sort of roundabout route that I am going but I want to go to Wholefoods anyway so it works well.

Good Morning RC! Hope you are trying to keep warm? I do. not. like. this. weather. But it must be worse for you up there. I can't remember who posted the funny in the Laughing Out Loud section about the man shovelling snow but it really made me laugh!!

Hey, everyone. Still too cold to breathe here, but I have to, so I'm up bustling. Surprised hubs with a lovely link bracelet to match his nice watch. We don't usually like men's jewelry, but this looks so nice and manly, and he loves it!
So much to do, and BTW--We're making cookies again today. I have boxes of them, and a fresh coconut cake, and homemade candies (I've barely touched them!) so na-na-na-na-boo-boo!!
