Morning family.......just got off phone interview....went really well. Now I have to get dressed and drive across town in the rain for my drug screen.
Saving...you must be a saint. If my hubs was not around for Christmas Eve or Day, we would be having SERIOUS issues. But I dont live in your world or know you situation, so if you are ok...I am ok.
Bird..I am glad the concert went well. Cant wait to see pics.

Hey all. Been up since 5:30, but we have an important party tonight (Hub's company, he's everyone's boss we'll be seeing). Of course I'm the DD, so he can relax, a bit, but has to remember his place with them. After all, the next time they meet, he's their boss, SOooooo.................
Sunni, Gentle Ben sounds like a real love. I'm so happy for you both. He will love you till the God's part you, and beyond, and whatever led you two together, was Kismet. I truly believe it's what you both needed.
Birdy, you are the greatest mom!! Can't wait to hear more of the music your family makes.

MB, you're gonna find your place, and so will your hubby, and you'll pull out of it. As far as your parents, I've read/seen somethings lately that seem to give me some insight into why, esp your mom, behave the way they do. I think of it as the saying 'methinks thou doest protest too much', if you get my drift. Throwing money at a huge problem doesn't cure it, and when, in the future, those same people may fail and come back to her, I truly believe their reception will be much different. I'd be willing to bet she has an expectation of a result, and if it's not forthcoming, she will have little patience.
Grace, love, I'm SO glad you came back to us. Nothing has changed as far as your reception here. We CARE, are so glad to have you back among us. And you are always included in my thoughts. Make your own luck, dear girl.
Tony, Grate, Biz, RC, Swanny, all you lovely people, keep posting. I have to go make myself look like a human, not embarrass Hubs tonight. I will be quite the novelty item, and have to mind my P's and Q's much more so than anyone else. It's at a fabulous place, with probably anything we want to eat, but my outfit didn't come (and don't you think several people didn't get an earful about THAT!!), so I have to go with plan 'B', no big deal.
I had to REALLY talk to 3 tenants yesterday, about late payments, bad checks, etc., but in the spirit of the season, I did not bring out the truly big guns, and won't put them on the street. Such a good thing I'm not a nasty person (normally! :H) but they have a better understanding now of what I expect, and their motorcycle payment does NOT come before their rent payment! Neither should they call me with a complaint about their house when they are months behind on their rent. Nor should they discuss our business at church, with people who will take me as a pushover, when that AIN'T the truth in our rentals.
Sorry, don't mean to run on, but so much going on here, so much to keep up with. I bought a bunch of Science kits for the kids, to grow their own crystals, make night lights that show the stars, make their own friendship bracelets, build their own race cars, so I hope they'll enjoy them. I'm wanting Riley to learn the violin, almost bought him one, then decided I'd better talk to his 5 year old self first! But as long as he's not making music in my house, it's all good.
Gotta go get my doggies walked and fed, hope I get to check back in before the day is over, but, again, I've been SO busy, so please forgive me my absence. You're all big girls and boys, so I know you're taking care of yourselves, and never forget you're never out of my heart and mind. Merry Christmas to you all!!! (I have another (worse!!:H) party tomorrow night! It's my Daddy's family.) So, PRAY for me, PLEASE!!!! They look at me like I'm a rock idol or something, so I have a lot to carry on my shoulders when I'm with them. And they've lost 2 of their stars (my Daddy and his next younger brother), the oldest brother is weak and his wife is trapped in Alzheimer hell, one brother is an alcoholic, 2 have mental illnesses, so it's NOT a fun group. But they treat me SO well, like a light in their midst, and I'm humbled by it. I'll be cooking all day tomorrow to take things, and I send all my leftovers home with the ones who need it. Please don't think I'm pumping myself up, it's just the way my big ole' family is, and if my leftovers, homemade pies, etc., make their days better, so be it. I'm just happy they eat well, and are happy, since I can't fix all the other problems in their lives.
Enough about me, I'm well and happy, just hoping those in the little circle of light from life are. So PLEASE, all of you, have a wonderful day, do something that makes you smile in your heart, OK?

Ruby, what a wonderful and encouraging post. Enjoy all your parties. I'm sure you look stunning with your new do. I don't understand why most ALL women think they are ugly and fat! That's what I see when I look into the mirror! Grateful has the day off and is finishing up her christmas shopping since she doesn't have Addison today. Sunshine, I am so happy Ben and Mags like each other. I think Ben was a true blessing for the both of you! Be careful driving in that ice! Tony, I'm so excited about your rehab program. When will you start the training? RC, I hope things get better for you. Business is so slow everywhere. MB, sorry you got upset over that phone interview. I am praying that you get the job and that 2011 is a GREAT year for you and everybody! Saving, I hope you enjoy the holidays and some time alone. So glad you have a passion for wood carvings. You should have a site and sell them on the internet so I could order some. You can always sell them on ebay. Bird, I'm so proud of your musical talented family. These dog pics are for you...

Okay - I am having a Twilight Zone thing - I already posted yet when I came back it has gone. I KNOW I posted. I had been in from work. heck - I wonder where I posted it. Well, it isn't in any of the new posts - oh darn it. I replied to Jan and told ruby to have a good time and told Vicki I liked her encouraging post and her dog pics. I asked Grateful if she had had a good day shopping - oh shoot! I remember writing it! I had a number of windows open - wonder if I closed the window without actually submitting it? Well, I can't do it all over again. Sorry everyone. Just know I love you all - hugs to all. I am tired. going to try and make a list for tomorrow. Have lots of stuff to do tomorrow morning then I work from 2-close. Yeah for my day off Sunday. Last one until Christmas day. Talk later.

Hi all
Wonderful pet pics peeps. Sun that happens to me alot the disappearing post. Dont know where they go. Been terribly busy Drank alot of beer last night after a very long day and cant sleep you know how it is. Gonna have to go back on the wagon full time cuz this doesnt work for me. Had the most wonderful time at my kids assembly yesterday and it was all so funny they had a skit and I got it all on video to send to my mom. Got all my wrapping finished and some things still coming in mail. Got a couple cool tshirts in the mail yest and my aunt sent me 20$ so had a good mail day. Raining like crazy. Gonna be a great 2011 I just know it. Good luck with that job MB and rubes you are the coolest...later on

Good morning - gosh Bird, when I saw the time you had posted I thought "wow, she is up SO early!!". Sorry it was for the wrong reasons!! Back up on the horse again!!

Have to go and run to Wal-Mart (yuck) and Target and that is it - I work today and am totally dreading the traffic at 1.15 this afternoon! I really should have got up earlier and gone earlier but well, you all know how that goes. Ruby - hope that you had a good time last night.
