    A girl can't do 'double shifts' forever y'know.

    ALRIGHT don't get yourself all worked up. Leave that to me!!! Ok, I hear ya. I've asked Cooky what he and Trixie are doin later. He said after he cleans the deep fryer they were going bowling. I said why don't you two stop by my tent at 2200.

        I was thinking the same Fluff. Um and how does Sarge's solution give Jones a shift break> :H:H

          Aw HELL Fluff we all have to take our boots off some time. But just so you know and I shouldn't be sharing this as it emboldens the enemy. Sarge and Nurse Jones were speaking in code.

          Margaret = Mission
          Couple = C4 explosive, etc.

          The other codes are hush hush...on a need to know ONLY. I hope that clear this up for you? Civilians!!!

                        private beags reporting sir, having emerged from The Hole (= solitary confinement) where someone posing as Sarge shoved me when i wasn't looking. then proceeded to feed me lots of cheese & sugar (which included THE most divine cherry & pistachio nougat but it was HELLISH let me tell you). oh & fat. AND this demonic Sarge doppelganger used me constantly for......oh, let me tell you.....he was devilishly clever with his....oh better stop now.
                        SO i'm back now & went for an hour long walk with all dogs aged over 7 days old, & now having my 2nd meal of salmon + danish feta on corn cakes + V8 juice, in accordance with the recommendations from this smiling attractive naturopath to whom i paid $120 AUD to tell me all the stuff i knew but don't do, when i could have got it from THIS SITE & THIS THREAD anyway! so i've figured out that i'm very hypoglycaemic as i don't eat during the day anyway.....& now i've gotta incorporate protein into at least 3 meals a day & i can eat all the mangoes i like oh joy.
                        But the bad news is i've gotta bit of a set-back healthwise & i'm booked in for some charming surgery in jan. blah but hey it's excellent af time, being in hospital. currently it's also affecting my exercise regime & worse still my horse-riding ( hey,did you know that when you miss out the "s" in "horse" it becomes a whole new tangent!!!). so gentle shit for me which is actually not me.
                        alrighty feeling HEAPS better now that FOOD is kicking in.
                        will be back in later.
                        PS Sarge, at the risk of being a grovelling brown-noser, your thread is being VERY helpful to me & i will be having the beetroot & goat's cheese salad for lunch.
                        i love beetroot.

                          Good to have you here Private. I like what I'm hearing about the diet. The Sarge you encountered was not a chainganger, but my twin brother Sgt Sol T. Peter. I'll have a talk with him. By the way I'm VERY concerned about this surgery issue. I have Lt. Techie follow up with you. In the meantime take care of yourself and make sure your eating well. Sounds like you are. Hell I saw Doc the other day about this strange rash I've had. He told me to take two glasses of the beetroot juice. Cleared it right up. Why hell I'll try blending some of that goat cheese in. I'll see you in formation tomorrow private Beags!!!

                            Sarge, gotta be careful about who you fraternise with. some of these ladies in exotic locations can be rather......carefree, sir, bout their personal hygiene. Rashes that crop up in strange places - well, i'd say sir to rub some vegemite on it sir & it'll be fixed right up.
                            Otherwise, i could amputate for you. i've been a surgeon for 19 yrs sir, & i've fixed up most animals, in some way shape or form.....

                              Sir,

                              I am grovelling.

                              But I have good excuses sir! Those gat dang secret manoeuvres sure took it out of me!! But I did really good on the food front sir, even if I didn't manage to make it to the gym. KPIs for this week: 2.1kg lost; 2 people said my skin was looking great; 2 people said that they thought I had lost weight. Most importantly, put my lippie on and smiled at myself and felt good about what smiled back

                              And if you let me off from extra weights I promise that I wont release the recording that I have my from new i-pad that had a hidden microphone in place in your tent and that I activtated at 2200 hours sir.

                              New goals in place sir ....... 2.8km ocean swim at end of January and sprint tri sometime around then as well.

                                Actually Sarge, you know what my best achievement for the week was? My mum (86) was a bit distressed (not sure, but she probably had a minor stroke) and I was able to be with her through it. Sober and sensible and reassuring.

                                It really doesn't matter that I didn't get to the gym!
