I'm learning how to clean my pool today so I can let go of the pool man and save 90 euros. I will need to buy the equipment so won't get the saving for the 1st month. It all about testing the ph balance and adding stuff. The worse bit will be understanding the machinery, valves and pumps are a bit scary when your blonde....

Anyway needs must and I can't drain it as they crack and this would lead to all sorts of problems. Once I get it sussed I was thinking I could actually become a pool girl! Can't think of anything more therapeutic than wandering around in the fresh air with me net fishing out leaves, be especially great in summer! And I wouldn't have to talk to any humans, that's the best bit!

My daughter,partner and two children came to stay for a week while their house was being plastered and painted and the week is turning into three.

I just remember i had no one to help me in a similar situation but I have no privacy It was all right when I was mum and I had the kids at home but this is so hard now and I am getting impatient.

Oh I totally sympathize, I live alone and love my own space. When my parents come to stay I get myself so stressed as it takes over and I loose all my routine. Keep taking deep breaths and saying to yourself "and this too shall pass"
