    James

James needs our help, everyone. He isn't ready to post or even lurk much yet, but he needs more tools (can someone put in a link to the Tool Box, please?), and we are putting together a plan. His main concern at the moment is withdrawal symptoms. Please comment on any you have experienced. Also good and bad sugars. I know there's a lot of info on the boards, but if we could just have a special thread so it's all in one place for him it would kick start him. Also, any words of encouragement. Let's show James how many great friends he really has.
    Thanks.

Stevia or xylitol are the best non carb sugars. For slower metabolism of carbs use agave or honey. Welcome James!!

                              Re withdrawal
im not sure how much you've been drinking but I quit cold turkey on 2 bottles of wine a day, suffered sleeplessness and sweats for about 3 weeks but nothing too heavy, Its important to stay as hydrated as possible with water and herbal teas which will help lessen possible headaches. Exercise can also be an enormous help both physically and mentally and make sure you eat as healthily as poss, all this will help you to feel good.
