I can't even imagine what recovering from the loss of your beloved has been like. Congratulations on pushing on through to advance your own recovery. Congratulations on 16 months AF. That is a fabulous accomplishment. :l

Kate and Roger, thanks for sharing this important message, especially at this time of year. I too used to think I was "OK to drive" on countless occassions when I was most definitely NOT OK to drive. It's only by the grace of a power greater than me that I did not kill myself or others.

Britt, a huge congratulations on your 16 Months of Sobriety! You have truely pushed through the fire for your sobriety and I think you know how much I love and respect you! I know your story of loss from alcohol, so very tragic and heartbreaking. It is heartwarming to see you enjoying life again and all the joy that your beautiful children bring to your life! You are a true inspiration, not only a Survivor, but a THRIVOR!!

The one thing I will never ever do is drive drunk.
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
