    Army Thread 10th December

    Morning KTAB I never thought of it like that, I'm sure that's probably mixed in there too,
    Actually you were in the dream too so was Oney! Bizarre eh!
    There was also the shattering regret of not making it to a year. I reckon my subconscious is taking a lot of the strain at the moment from my conscious mind. I'm so good at turning negative thought to good ones but now I think they are just being stored up in my subconscious!

              Morning Tips, Zenners,Expat,Starts,cirly wirly stirly girly,Chills, KT and all those yet to drop by.

              When our two went up to senior school, they took one or their shirts and every one in their year signed it even the teachers. The other ritual was to rip off their school ties and tie them to the gate as they left for the last time. I'll have furtle round later to see if I got a photo.
              It could be worse, I could be filing.

                    Army Thread 10th December

                    Hiya Army :hallo:

                    The Summer holidays are officially here. South Africa's collective madness now starts in all earnest.

                    Back from the school (obviously). I didn't bring shame on my son: I wore a pair of jeans and a neat shirt (i.e. with collar). Shirt remained untucked, though - for good reason... Tiggers don't have bums to speak of, and they loook plain silly when wearing jeans with shirts tucked in.

                    I am VERY proud of the two of them: they both passed with distinction (i.e. more than 80% average). I'm logged into the office network, but as soon as I've done what I have to, I'll take them to lunch to celebrate. Did I mention that I'm very proud of them? I prolly did

                    I must also admit to developing a bit of a lump in the old throat during assembly... Must be post-nasal drip...

                    Anyhooooo... I'm outta here so I can get some work done.
                    I'll do whatever it takes

                        :upset::upset::upset:

                        We're back home again: the town centre has been overrun by graduate students and their parents. I had completely forgotten that the graduation ceremonies were taking place today. We settled for steak & kidney pies and a choccie each :h We'll see if we can get a reservation to go someplace tonight instead.

                        Might jump in the pool, come to think it - a rather hot & muggy day today.
