Love it! Love it! 'Twas magical indeed!! Not that there will be any snow on the ground in the morning, but just the sight of it made me happy.

Travelling home today.
This has been one absolutely amazing and chilled out holiday. I have loved it.

Good morning, Happy Saturday! I slept in till 8 am-quite a treat as by this time we are on our way to work and school. Paris forecast-still freezing and snow and ice still on the ground. But should get above freezing today so I hope the ice on the pavement will MELT! I am having TWO cups of coffee this morning before I attempt to walk the dog. Gotta be alert and awake to watch out for those ice patches and sexy Jack Russel vixens (my pug IS a male and has a "thing" for terrier girls:H!) A few things to get taken care of today but we are going to take it at a nice slow pace. No rushing for us today. I'll be checking in later:h. expat xxx

Mrs happy here still pleased when I wake up without a hangover.

Off to do a 10 miler with some young lads who have been out on the town last night and will be bragging about how much they drank. I am looking forward to the look on their faces when I hammer them in the home stait!! (I better had)

Anon thank you for the reminder of how wonderful especially Saturdays are without a hangover

Sleep fairy granted me a peaceful 7 hours with no nightmares so I'm feeling good,
Weather is promising 15c/59f not bad for December sat outside yesterday with friends for lunch.

Can't believe 2 weeks today is Christmas, not one present bought or one card written and don't intend to, no Christmas for me this year.

Happy shopping JC! Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better this morning Mario. Chill-Christmas is going to be "low key" for us too. There is such pressure at this time of year to CELEBRATE and buy, buy, buy..All the adverts on the telly for toys are driving me crazy! The way I look at it--there is NO ONE RIGHT WAY to pass the holiday season. For those who want to go "BIG"-go for it. Don't want to do anything?-That's ok too. For us it's middle of the line. We did put up a small tree (it's cute!) and the kids are both getting a few presents, of course. We just don't have a lot of money this year. And we are far from our family so it's just me and the kids-and the pug, haha! In the past I've let myself get depressed at this time of year so I'm trying to just float along and search out the positives. And they ARE there:l. expat xxx

My first christmas sober was a bit strange,i was a bit lost if the truth be told but i soldiered on and went out and enjoyed myself as best one can,This year my second sober christmas, even though it is over commercialized i am looking forward to it,having said that i haven't got anything in yet but i will.
