Mishmash;1021686 wrote: Private Mish reporting for duty, Sarge. I had a relaxing AF weekend without even the glimmer of a craving. I'm hitting the Bac pretty hard. Might as well take advantage of this time when I can't do much with my eye to ramp up on Bac and sleep as much as I need. I'm not suffering the other SEs now so I don't mind/
So glad the company party went well. I had every confidence that you would be fine.
I have heard that the Stockings are hung, Sarge.

I'm thrilled you're doing so well Mish. Keep focused on doing everything in your power for your health. A bunch of good tips in the living to be 100 post today, applicable even if your goal is age 99. Now make sure to keep checking in and I'll check out On A Mish'n as welll!!!

priv beag reporting in sir.
been really virtuous in the exercise stakes & now my thighs are sore sarge. they might need to be rubbed.
food wise : hmm......sorta good but the cherry/pistachio nougat keeps calling me sir & all i can say is that at least it's gluten free.
today (Monday 13th Dec) i will not drink. simple instruction to self.
just keep wasting heaps of time sir watching the puppies grow & they are fascinating. more vid footage to shoot & will email to bridge &/or stirly to put up for me, if they don't mind.
glad the xmas party went well sarge & thanks for all these tips as usual...but i don't want to live to be 100!!!! gack, as the amphibious one would say. quite happy to make it to 80 i reckon & then exit gracefully & without fuss.

Oh hell Private Beags I'm darn good at rubbin thighs. Now just scooch on over here. Why hell I could rub the hair off a mountain goat in one session. NOW YOU'RE DANG RIGHT YOU ARE NOT DRINKING. YOU DON'T WANT ME COMING TO PERTH AMBOY, NJ. Oh hell, I mean PERTH AUSTRALIA (thanks Cooky). Looking forward to more pup pics. We need more platoon mascots around here. Alright Private we'll shoot for the 80's. Remember that gat dang Duran Duran? See you at formation!!!

Yay, I'd love you to come to Perth, too, Sarge. We could get beagle to join us for lunch at the Capri (dinner's a bit noisy) and then bob around in the spa. We could pick up mangoes and cherries at the Freo Markets and scoff 'em down with ham and salad. Maybe even whip over to Rotto for the day and check out the quokkas.

And you could rub beagle's (lovely) thighs.
Sounds like a plan... Attached files

Well, Sarge SIR, I had the indoor blizzard then I had these other things that I had to do then... then... umm... (scrapes bottom of barrel)... Hey, I've been eating well!!! (Too well maybe!) But... umm... hey, I'm taking my supplements! Ummm... but the gym manouvers have been sadly lacking. Sorry SIR! Permission to kick my own arse!

Today would be a good time to decide on a 5 day gym week so I will get my butt over there later. In my defense (dare I even go there?!) I've had a spot of toothache.

That is all to report SIR! If you need me I'll be in the latrines cleaning the floor with a toothbrush. Thank you SIR! In advance SIR!

Ah alright Private I know everyone has been busy with the seasonal activities and I feel for ya. You had some problems with the x-mas tree also. These things tend to cause us stress, right? Oh and you've missed the gym too. As if that weren't enough ya have an unholy molar. WELL TOO DAMN BAD PRIVATE ZENNERS AND YES I DO WANT YOU KICKING YOUR ASS. YOUR GOING TO DO A DOUBLE SESSION AT THE GYM. YOU HEAR ME??? REPORT IN LATER OR I'LL BE THE NEXT PALMETTO BUG IN YOUR LIFE!!!

YES SIR!!! I understand SIR! (SIR, how did you know it was a molar?) * Checks room for hidden camera *

It came to Sarge in a dream. I sometimes dream about teeth both human and animal. I think it stems from my youth when as a boy scout I was mauled by Mrs. Lopez's Chupacabra while delivering meals on wheels.

Checking in Sarge and other ratbags. Saffy had M.R.I. yesterday, we get the results this afternoon. It has been a tough time Sarge I have to feed her with a syringe and carry her all over the house (she weighs 25kg) thank fusk I'm strong Sarge - the weight training comes in handy. She seems to be happy and not in pain....on the exercise front, not good news Sarge, havent had the spirit to do much, but I'm feeling so lethargic today that I will jump back on the horse and get stuck into it. Diets going O.k. although on the 3 hr. car trip to the surgeon yesterday, I ate a whole 200gm back of chips...then felt like a bloated pig for the rest of the day (salt doesnt agree with me, although I adore it). Back to the grindstone today. Good news though troops NO GROG CONSUMED, NO CRAVINGS FOR "JUST ONE' to calm the nerves...cant believe I am coping with this without running off to the bottle shop. I sense a major ramping up in my recovery resolve and something is definitley happening at a physiological level Sarge. I completed Dr. JOan Lawsons "SEVEN WEEKS TO SOBRIETY" regime of mega vitamins and aminos (cause you know Sarge I believe that stuff works).....I firmly believe that my damaged biochemistry is well on the way to repair. As much as some proponents of the purely psychological approach to addiction management/cure will say that its all in the mind...I firmly believe that it is much more complex than that and I have done a heap of research into fixing up hypoglycemia, leaky gut syndrome, and other ailments created by the chronic ingestion of drain cleaner(alcohol)...my psyche has happily followed my lead and so far my neurotransmitters are sending out very positive signals. Fusk I rave on Sarge. Anyway into the day, I'm off to see the wizard..............................
