I like the garlic idea:H! I won't even get started about the weather:upset:! ANOTHER "cold front" on the way from the North by mid-week! The fecking ice only just melted! After work I went into the shopping centre-God I hate those places at Christmas time! Had to get my little one an electronic piano (age appropriate-6 yrs old and up) and was feeling pretty good about getting something done (what with my HATE of shopping and all). NEED I say it was a madhouse in there? Well, I also had a rolled up poster for my daughter's room under one arm and my heavy work bag with all my books. I get out of the place and notice I don't have the poster. This is all within 5 minutes. So I rush back in and tell the girl at the till I left the poster. She's like "Oh, I remember you but there's no poster here" SOME FECKER KNICKED IT! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Like as if I am not broke enough as it is-I'm losing presents!!! I even went to security to see if someone had turned it in-but no. I was almost in tears. Home now. I guarded the box with the piano with my life and just collapsed when I got in the door. Then cried. I need to calm down.

Yeah, me too, Expat. Spent all day Saturday wrestling my way through the frenzied crowds... but it was too little, too late. Will need to repeat this unpleasant exercise for the last bits and pieces :upset:Okay, WHO put a stop payment on my reality check?

No I bought them at this dead posh deli in town and they're huge.

Not yet Zenners. Not to worry as the post is still off whack and just coming when it feels like it.
Some companies are stopping postal deliveries to Scotland as there's more bad weather on it's way. Giz a min and I'll see if I can find the news link.It could be worse, I could be filing.
